*Alarm clock goes off
I wake up wishing this was a nightmare but not even close. My mother got married three months ago to a man that she say makes her happy. Moving to the suburbs was not apart of the plan. I could live with a guy moving into the house but not moving to a new home and school. I left all my friends behind only taking memories with me. I just hope this school year is just as easy as it was for my mom to say "yes" to my step father. But anyway I forgot introduce myself my name is Lyla White and today is my first day attending Ashton high as a freshman how great ! I walk to the bathroom to take a nice shower. Blasting Rihanna "kiss it better", it is nothing like starting off a good day with music. I finally get dress waiting for mother,she have to take me today because my registration for the school bus didn't go throw yet. We finally get there my stomach is spinning like crazy.
Principal: You guys must be the Whites?
Mother : yes
Principal: follow me
I swallow really hard, students that you can tell that already attended the school was looking at me hard. I already knew this wasn't gonna work.
Principal: Welcome Lyla , I am Ms.Walker the principal. Are you excited about your first day here at Ashton?
Lyla: I guess
*Mother kicks my leg
Lyla: I mean I sure am !
Ms.Walker: great so your Mother just have to sign this paper. ( hands mom the paper) and while she does that I'll get your schedule.
Ms.Walker steps out of the room to go get my schedule. I looked to my mom while she signs the papers.
Lyla: Mom I can't do this! Can we just go home?
Mother: No! I let you stay home enough you didn't even start on time your three weeks behind already Lyla.
Lyla: Just home school me please !?
Mother: No! Be quiet she is coming back.
Ms.Walker steps back into the room with a piece of paper in her hands. She begins to explain to me how the schedule works, but sadly I'm not listening. I'm just thinking about leaving and just running out and not looking back but..
Ms. Walker: okay and that's it do you have any questions?
I just began to shake my head "No" even though I have no clue what she said and just want her to repeat it all over again but I sadly have no time for that.
Ms.Walker: Great ! Follow me I'll show you to your next class.
I look at my mom smiling really hard. She give me a kiss on the cheek and tell me to have a good day. I leave out the room not saying anything. I did not want to be here . I looked around the school while following. The school is big an amazing. Still don't wanna be here though. Before I know it I'm at the classroom. She opens the door and walks in and of course I follow. The class was nice but everyone was looking at me.
Ms.Walker: Mr.Ling this is Lyla your new student.
Mr.Ling: welcome Lyla I'm Mr.Ling also your science teacher. You can take a seat in the first row second to last seat.
I began to walk to the back while feeling all eyes on me. It was the worse feeling. I sat down and began to take notes. I heard to my left people whispering but I didn't pay it any attention. For the next three periods I was late to every class. It was terrible but now it's the worst period lunch! I went down stairs and it's so many people I didn't have anyone to sit with. I just sat at the first table that didn't have anyone there. Well... Barely! I felt like a ghost no one knew I was there , not one person said I word! This is why I'd rather be at home schooled talking to Penelope! I know she misses me , I have to take her for a walk when I get home. My dad gave her to me for my 10th birthday before he left my mom to play in the nba. But that's a whole different story.
8th period is here ! Finally you don't understand the joy I am feeling to finally get out of this school! I began to walk to 8th period it's finally the first class I didn't have a trouble finding. I walk in the class it was mostly all guys. It's 5 groups and each group have 4 desk in them facing towards each other as a square shape. Each table is filled with at least two or three guys. I walk towards the middle group and sat. There is one boy sitting diagonal from me. He looks and say hi, I waved and that's about it. He's brown skin, and chubby. I faced towards my phone and played temple run. A book slammed in front of me and a dark skin guy sat down. I looked at him then faced away. He and the other guy did some type of handshake to greet each other. I'm sitting and feel the other guy that just sat down starring at me.
*foot kicks mines
Lyla: excuse me sir , yeah hi can you move your feet.
Boy: haha nah.
Lyla: your feet is under my desk and this desk is my person space.
Boy: My bad ill fix them
He puts his legs passed and around mine. I look up and he is smiling.
Lyla: you got jokes don't you?
He shakes nods his head "yes". I began to keep looking and I never realized how beautiful his smile was until now. He is actually really cute. His smile have two deep dimple on both sides. With a beautiful white smile. His hair is nice and curly. For some reason he has my attention.
Ms.Johnson: Lyla white?..... Lyla white?
Lyla: Sorry I'm here.
Ms.Johnson: well welcome I'm your reading teacher.
Lyla: thank you
The bell rings and I walk out of class. I walk behind him out of the school. He is nice and tall like how I like them. He's just to perfect.
Mother: Lyla !!!!
I look over and mom is here I ran towards the car and got in. She asked how school was and I say TERRIBLE!. I tell her how I didn't make one friend and I am gonna be lonely forever. We get home and of course he's here. I walk in and say hi Bill and head straight to my room.
*phone goes off
Mom
' come down stairs and eat!'
I head down stairs and eat dinner . Mom makes meatloaf ! One of my favorites if you don't love it your crazy !
Bill: how was school?
Lyla: don't wanna talk about it
Bill: alright honey how was work today ?
Mother: great as always
Everyone finish dinner, I run up stairs to text Ashley my best friend we knew each other sense kindergarten. Me moving couldn't even break our friendship!

My heart stops I can't believe she jus asked to go out with my ex ! What type of bestfriend would do that! After he ruined my life by cheating on me and not taking me serious she would do that? You know what! Fuck it she can have him and I hope he fuck her over ! Ugh

I turn over looking at a picture I bought that gives me life by my favorite artist. It is amazing as always . I stare at it praying to God tomorrow will be a better day .
