- Confusion crossed Emilia's face as she stared at the small kitten who lay asleep on her lap, purring happily as she scratched behind his ear with her hand whilst he either held her phone as she clicked out of the Instagram app into her messages. Re-reading through the messages between her Carter from last night, she never asked her for a kitten, that was when her message tone when off. 'Cody: take care of the kitten Princess' Emilia heart leapt at the thought of Cody getting her the small kitten and she filled with joy immediately. 'Cody: Had some connections in Florida to deliver the kitten quickly for you, raise him well princess' Emilia grinned excitedly to herself as she holds her phone to her chest.
A soft knock on her bedroom door startled her as her dad stood there "Mom said you have your speech help today" he spoke walking in and sitting on her bed. Emilia's head rested in his shoulder the smile never seeming to go from her face. The fact that Cody gifted her a kitten and how she'll finally be able to speak again. "Get ready we're leaving in thirty" he said kissing her forehead and leaving.
