Chapter one

(Steven POV)

I walked walked across the cold, lavender purple grass and stared into the crystal sky. I called out for the gems in an empty, magical field. I obviously got no response. I started to worry about their whereabouts. I walked around more looking for them in the completely empty landscape. The wind got stronger. The grass swayed in the wind and I heard a loud pounding sound. I turned around to see a dark figure in the shadow. The figure slowly approached me and walked into view.

It was Jasper, holding the shattered remains of the Crystal Gems in her hand, with an evil smile plastered on her face.

I woke up, screaming. Pearl immediately ran to my assistance as she was at my bed side, watching me sleep, as usual.

"Steven are you ok?! Are you hurt?!" She said and looked worried. I smiled at her and giggled.

"It was just a bad dream pearl!" I said to her calmly.

She calmed down. "Oh, as long as your ok steven!"

I smiled at her and nodded.

"Alright then!" She said pretending to leave the room. I went back to sleep but had the same dream over and over until it became morning.

(Pearl's POV)

I was talking with Garnet and Amethyst about Steven last night.

"He just kept waking up screaming from the same dream. I am worried about him...." I said worried.

Amethyst laughed it me. "P. they're just dreams. Don't worry!" She said reassuringly.

Steven walked in, silently. I quickly changed the conversation.

"So um....should we look for jasper again...?" I asked garnet.

She adjusted her classes and spoke. "Yes." I smiled awkwardly.

"Let's bring Steven! He was able to fight off Jasper at the beach with lion as Stevonnie!" I said smiling.

Garnet looked at steven. "Sure." She said in her usual tone.
