Carmen's POV

As me and my best friend Rachel (Rowan Blanchard) were walking down the hallway I got bumped into.
"Hey watch it!". I said " Hey you bumped into me!?" He said. As I reached down to grab my books he was also bending down to help me then we touched hands and I looked into his eyes they were really nice they were hazel with a speck of gre- "so umm we gotta go..." Rachel said as we walked away and I turned around he was there smiling at me. And I smiled back!

Benny's POV

As I was walking down the hallway I got bumped into by the most prettiest girl I've seen she had luscious blond curls with beautiful blue oceanic eyes. "Hey watch it!" She said then out f nowhere I said "hey you bumped into me!" As I reached down to help her get her books we touched hands and she was looking at me and didn't really know why though. Then her friend, the brunette said "so umm we gotta go..." then they left but I saw the blonde turn around and I was smiling at her...and she smiled back!

Carmen's POV

"Hey Carmen, you know that boy you bumped into he was that boy that we always see playing baseball with the other ones I think his name is...Bobby...wait no its Benny I think!?" Rachel said " Wait that was him omg he is so cute..." Rachel gave me a look that said oooo you totally like him then of course she said "Omg Carmen you totally like him". " Noooo I don't, I don't even know him!" However I wanted to know him...

After School
Benny's POV

As me and Yeah Yeah were walking to the sandlot to meet up with the other boys I couldn't stop thinking of that blonde I met. Then Yeah Yeah said " Yo Benny Boy stop daydreaming your drooling over our ball!" "Oh ummm I didn't notice" "Of course you didnt ...you were daydreaming duh". That's when I noticed a familiar blonde walking across the street so I told Yeah Yeah to take the ball I'll catch up then he left so I went up to the blonde and said " hey Blondie." Then she turned around and said "Look who it is Mr. I don't know how to watch were I'm going!" "Actually my name is Benjamin, Benny for short" I said "well I rather call you that... My name is Carmen" "nice well I'm heading to the Sandlot care to join?" "Maybe next time base head I gotta go to cheer practice." And with that she walked off leaving me with a dumb smirk on my face.
