I'll probably get a LOT of hate for this but I REALY REALLY dislike Sasuke and Sakura as a ship. I've always been a big Naruto fan but I felt the ship sailing was just forced. The whole ship sailed only because of Sakura's continuous oobsession with Sasuke. Other than that there I felt like there was no other reason for them to get together.
*The way I feel about Kishimoto and his romantic conclusions*
Kishimoto: Welp, Some female charecter has to end up with Sasuke at the end and since Sakura likes him....
Me: but...what about developing is relashionships with other charecters like...Karin?
Kishimoto: yeah... It seems that he has no female other character to end up with, So Sakura it is!
Me: But it feels so FORCED....
Yeah. Don't get me wrong! I love naruto but romance never felt like it went in the right direction.
Sasuke and Sakura have a really thin relationship after he left the hidden leaf, she continued to obsess over him but he never returned her feelings and even tried to KILL HER.
They were friends and then enemies and then MARRIED?!? For me, there was no meaning or emotion to the ship and it was just made for convince. There were many other ways there relationship could have developed but it just remained the same. Maybe if Kishimoto gave them more time to move pass Sakura's obsession and let Sasuke's feelings be shown SasuSaku could have been better.
The ship had potential but I feel like Sakura's low charecter development at the begining of Naruto ( In Naruto Shippuden she got a lot more badass female development) caused it to be this way. Sakura in the beginning did nothing but stand around with a KUNAI and scream NARUTO, SASUKE SAVE ME! HELP ME! ( THANKFUL SHE CHANGED AND WAS DEVELOPED)
If she could have stood on her own a bit more and actually put ACTUAL THOUGHT into Sasuke's feeling for HER she might not have been so obliviouse and low about the whole relationship. Sakura needed to realize that Sasuke doesn't love her and she can't force her feelings onto him, she needed to give it time. He wasn't going to fall in love with her overnight.
IN CONCLUSION, SASUSAKU has always felt like a rushed, under developed and convience ship. It could have been so much more!

Honestly though, ships that aren't even of he main charecters got more development than this like Minato and Kushina.
