Jack's POV
Hack and I walk down the lonely streets of Ireland. I was skipping as he walked with his hands in his pants pockets and looking down. He was more mature then me since he was three years older then me but we still looked alike. He was 16 and I am 13 but acted like I was 8. "This is bull shit Mini. We don't deserve this." he spoke. I skipped backwards. "Why? I think we are doing fine!" I replied to him skipping again. "Mini... our parents beat us up. We can't speak to other people, we don't go to school, we're starving, and it ALWAYS FUCKING RAINS!! And we don't have our own shelter." he yelled at me. I stopped mid place. " How about we forget this. We can go to L.A when your like 19 and you can sign me up for middle school. Just because I've never been to school doesn't mean I'm not smart. I read a lot in stores and know a lot of math. I actually really enjoy math!" I said still skipping. Hack stopped me by grabbing my arm. I turn and look at him. He pulls me into a hug. I smile and hug back. "Come on let's go back to the hell we call home" I smiled and nodded. We stepped on the steps up to the porch. I still had a smile on as Hack squeezed my wrist. He opened the door. We stepped in. I closed the door. "Come on let's hurry before they hear us!" Hack whispers. I nod as we run to our room and lock the door. "I don't even think they are home." I turned to look at him as he gave me a death glare. " Do you wanna go check Mini!" He yelled. " FUCK NO!!" I yelled back. "Okay then. Here I stole some chips and candy, this old lady bought us drinks, and a lady in her mid 20's with some double D's gave us like three boxes of crackers." I smiled. Bout thirty minuets later we were stuffing our faces, but made sure to save some just in case. It was about 11 at night. "Night Mini Me." "Night Wanna Be." Hack turned off the lights. I sat in the dark looking at the ceiling. ' I sure hope we grow up soon.' I thought before slowly drifting to sleep.
