the sky was painted in
darkness and bright stars.
it was the night that,
eunwoo and hyunhee were
going out on their first date.
and the thought of it
made her happy.
they arrived at the place
where eunwoo planned.
it was a restaurant located in
broadway and it was really popular.
"we're here"
he announces,
hyunhee smiles and watched
him walk out of the car as he
came towards hyunhee's way
to open the car door.
"thank you."
she says, stepping out of the
car with her fingertips held by him.
before they headed inside ,
eunwoo took hyunhee's hand,
sending butterflies and chills.
he smiles widely and they began
to head inside the restaurant.
"reservation for lee dongmin
and ahn hyunhee."
eunwoo says.
they follow the waitress as she
leads them to an empty table.
the restaurant wasn't filled
with much people today.
hyunhee prepares to take
a sit when eunwoo stops her.
he walks behind her, pulling the
chair back and signalled her to sit.
"so what would you like?"
he asks,
"how about you choose for me?"
hyunhee say while looking at the menu.
"i'll surprise you."
he chuckles.
the waitress comes shortyly
and took their orders.
while the two waited,
they looked around the
restaurant while hyunhee
observed eunwoo carefully.
"i think i'm in heaven"
eunwoo says,
"why?"
hyunhee asks.
"because i'm looking at an
angel right now, she's beautiful"
he says while looking directly
at hyunhee, pulling off his
charming smile.
he left her lost in words.
" you're blushing, it's cute"
eunwoo states, suddenly
pinching hyunhee's cheek
which caused her to blush more.
"aish, i'll stab you with this fork"
hyunhee threatened but
he shook his head,
"are you actually going to
hurt the person you love?"
he asks while raising a brow,
she look at him in disbelief,
"yah! l-l-love?"
hyunhee stutters.
eunwoo abruptly laughed, leaving hyunhee to be speechless.
could i possibly love eunwoo?
she thought.
the waitress comes with
the food, and they began to eat.
"open up"
hyunhee says while
taking a piece of steak
and fed it to eunwoo.
he smiles at the cute gesture,
doing the same in return.
after spending an hour
in the restaurant, they
left feeling stuffed.
eunwoo started the engine,
but he was not driving home.
"eunwoo-ya, where are we going?
this isn't the way to go home"
hyunhee says while looking at him
whom had his gaze ahead.
"it's a secret for now."
he replies.
after what felt like 5 minutes,
he stops the car.
"and we're here"
he says.
"our final destination."
the scenery consisted
of many mountains and
a lake. but, what caught
hyunhee's attention the
most was the boat.
"what are we doing here?"
hyunhre asks,
"you'll find out soon"
he answers.
eunwoo took her hand,
their fingers intertwining perfectly.
they walked towards the
wooden bridge across the
water where the boat was tied to.
"i rented this for today"
he says,
hyunhee just smiles at his efforts
while he helped her get in.
they paddled in the midst
of the lake, looking up at
the stars and at each other.
"there may be a lot of stars
up in the sky, but you're the
only star in my life"
eunwoo says,
fluttering her heart.
his words had her heart
beating rapidly.
"actually hyunhee, i brought
you here for a special reason."
he says,
"what is it?"
hyunhrr asks.
he takes his phone out,
and an instrumental song
began to play.
it was 'just wanna by amber'.
hyunhee watched him admiringly,
hearing him sing soothingly and
sincerely.
he took something out
of his pocket, and revealed
a little tiffany blue box.
he hands it to hyunhee
and motions for her to open.
inside was a necklace.
a heart with a little lock.
"i don't know what to say
but thank you. for your efforts
this night, i won't ever forget them."
hyunhee says.
"of course you wont"
eunwoo replies teasingly.
"because i need to ask
you something else"
he says,
it took him quite awhile,
before these words left his mouth.
"will you be my girlfriend?"
hyunhee did not hesitate,
"of course i will."
"she said yes! it's official!"
he shouts in happiness.
today couldn't be more better.
he takes the necklace from her
and placed it around her neck.
hyunhee noticed he had one as well.
he had a key.
"you have a heart
while i have a key.
in other words, i'm
the key to your heart"
he smirks,
hyunhee blushes.
i'm happy to be yours.
hyunhee thought.
i'm happy you're mine.
eunwoo thought.
