Daniel says through the mass of bodies on the couch after all the laughter dies down. " That sounds great guys but hey I can't breathe ." Lala says under Devin who was squished by Rose followed by, Me, Kevin, and ending with Daniel on top laughing at us all. "ayo get off of me and my girl ." Devin said sounding a little unconvincing considering his position. I laughed lightheartedly as Kevin pulled me off of Rose and into his body, without even needing to look in the mirror on Selah's living room wall behind me I knew I was blushing viciously being so close to the warmth of his body.
When I looked over next I see Devin completely captivated with La as he helped her up off the couch and we all sit normally this time on the couch, love seat, and a little spread out on the floor. "okay now which Skating rink are you talking about Veda ?" Kev says stretching his arms out behind me casually " Wait are Y'all sure you even want to take me? I can't skate worth my life" Rose says from her sprawled position on the floor. "aye and Daniel and I are going to be 6th Wheeling. " she said interjecting again and rolling my eyes " Well if you'd ask my brother out there wouldn't be a problem but...." Selah said purposely drifting from the end of the sentence "Nita did you just throw shade at me ?'' Rose said "it's not shade if it's true." Selah Says sticking her tongue out in Rose's general direction "so when are we going ?" Dev says "The Arenas at Woodbridge is open till 10." Daniel says on his phone looking at the rink info. "Okay then I have to call my mom before I leave." Selah says "me too ." I say the girls all stand up to go to Selah's room "I'm just going to change and call my mom I'll be right down ." She says to the guys as we follow her out of the living room and up the stairs

"Selah's Devin's Girlfriend! Devin's Selah's Boyfriend! " Alyssa and Rose yell as they tease me. "You guys shut up he might hear us!" I yell shutting the door. Since Devin and I obviously aren't going our singing assignment done today I need to get out of my lounging clothes. "Do you not see the way Devin looks at you? " Alyssa yells at me as I browse my closet for comfy skate wear. "Maybe ?" I say blushing as I stick my head back out the closet door. "Lie again ! " Rose yelled in a playfully threatening way. "You realize this is a mini date right? he's going to want to skate with you all night and by you stuff in the arcade? Share food . ? Ahh, it's so cute I love it !" Alyssa yelled again "Then Do me a favor and help me !" I say yelling at them from my closet
"Leave that to me." Rose said bouncing up and walking towards me. She pushed me out of the closet and I almost hurled into Alyssa. We climbed the stairs to my bed she sat on my plush bean bag and I sat on my bed laughing and then I smiled "You know I'm really glad me and you met. I was not like this last year, Rose was my only friend and I was super shy and quiet but now I've got a date coming up and I have a great group of friends, including you." I said
