Poem inspired by someone I loved dearly and miss,haven't seen for two years.
Why can I forget
The memories of the past
Why must I remember
The memories we made together
Must we meet again
After all these years have past
Must we say hello
If it always ends with goodbye
Will you forget about me
As the time passes by
It just hurts real bad
When you see him walking past
Must I go through the pain
Of trying to forget our memories
True they were wonderful
But I can't handle the tears
Remembering you being with me
Everyone was happy
But then that tragic incident
Tore me apart from you
I still feel the tear stains
From my warm poor cheeks
That day that we had to say goodbye
I cried so often after that
Why must I love you
If you don't love me back
Why can't I forget
The memories of the past
Why must I remember
The memories we made together
If you walk into my life
Please stay and make it alright
Don't say goodbye again
