Chapter One❤️

Ashley's P.O.V

"Mandy!" I shout to my best friend across the bakery where she was washing down the tables and straightening the chairs where they are suppose to be. Me and Mandy have been best friends since freshman year of high school and we graduated last year. We also live together in this nice little apartment not to far from here.

"What?" She asks walking towards me with a confused look on her.

"We have 40 cupcakes to make by tomorrow afternoon" I say grinning, I never had a problem making a lot of cupcakes I could do it in my sleep but Mandy on the other hand hates it but she is saving up on money for her birthday vacation to the Bahamas in a couple months and of course she begged me to go until I said yes.

"Ugh! who needs that much cupcakes anyway?" Mandy groans and I let out a little giggle.

"Apparently this guy named Austin needs them" I say while shrugging my shoulders.

"This guy better be hot or I just might end up throwing them at him" Mandy says as she starts grabbing the stuff to make the cupcakes.

"Yeah and then you would be finding another way to save up money" I say while laughing.

"You're right" She sighs

Me and Mandy spend all afternoon finishing up the cupcakes and taking people's orders. Now it was time to close and head out for the night.

"I am so tired" I whine while taking off my apron and hanging it up as Mandy does the same with hers.

"Me too, when we get home I'm getting some much needed sleep" Mandy says while yawning.

I laugh as I grab my purse and make my way out of the bakery with Mandy in front of me. I lock the bakery's door as soon as I step outside. I walk to my car with Mandy waiting in the passenger's seat. Once I am buckled in I start the car and drive out of the bakery's parking lot to start the 20 minute drive to our apartment.

20 minutes later....

I park the car in the usual spot I always park in. I turn the car off then me and Mandy get out of the car and we walk to the front door, I unlock the door and we step in. Mandy immediately kicks off her shoes and goes to her room to probably sleep the night away. I walk to my room and go to the bathroom that is connected to my bedroom to take a bath before bed. I turn the water on and while the tub fills up I strip off all my clothes. I step into the bathtub and sit down as the warm water surrounds me. After about half an hour of shaving, washing my hair and body I decide it is time to get out. I stand up and grab the towel that is hanging on the rack next to the bathtub. I walk out of the bathroom and make my way to my walk in closet and grab a bra and underwear to match I also grab a t-shirt and shorts to wear to bed. I step out of my closet once I got dressed and make my way to my bed to get a good night sleep.
