"How is everything going with yourself?"
"Cut the chit chat," I snapped, raising my voice just a little. "I don't have all day, Chresanto. Why am I here?"
"Brielle you know why you're here."
"What, so we can try and patch everything up? Well it's not happening, Chresanto. I was fine with being cordial with one another. I gave you an inch and you took a mile."
"Being cordial isn't enough for me, Bri-"
"Don't call me Bri. Only my friends and family can call me that and you're neither. My name is Brielle to you."
"Well, Brielle being cordial isn't enough for me. We're both out of high school now and I can't handle seeing you almost everyday without want to hug you or make you laugh. It's killing me."
I laughed. "Let's just forget everything that happened in high school, right? Cheating on me wasn't so much a big of a deal to you, was it? Because it was for me."
"I'm way mature now, Brielle. I've learned from my mistakes. I'm willing to apologize for the rest of my life to you if I have too."
"Apologizing isn't going to do a damn thing."
"Then what is, Brielle?"
"Nothing is, Chresanto! I don't want anything to do with you! You broke my heart and you didn't even care. I'm not going through any other bullshit with you."
"I'm not asking to be in another relationship with you, Brielle. Even thought I want to I think it's best that we stay friends for the moment."
"You want to be in another relationship with me so you can break my heart, right?"
"Brielle that was in fucking high school! Shit has changed since then. Maybe if you weren't so fucking stubborn all the time we wouldn't have these problems!"
"I'm not stubborn!" I yelled.
"Yes you are! Ever since I met you you've been stubborn! It took me three years, three fucking years of knowing you too get on your good side! The bad part was that I didn't do anything to you and you have the nerve to say that you aren't stubborn? It's bullshit and you know it."
He was right. I'd usually have a smart remark to say back to him but I didn't because everything that he's been saying is true.
"I'm just not stubborn for no reason," I whispered. "You did this to me, Chresanto. I was so mean to you and hated you because I knew what was going to happen if I let you in. I let you in and see what happened? I trusted you and you betrayed me, Chresanto." I said. I felt the cool liquid run down my face from my right eye.
Chresanto moved over and hugged me but I wouldn't budge. I didn't know that this situation got to me like that but I guess it did.
"I'm sorry," Chresanto mumbled into my ear. "I didn't mean to make you cry."
"It's fine," I said, wiping my fallen tears away. "Don't worry."
"I didn't mean to come off like that, Brielle. I don't know what it is but you're having some type of effect on me. Ever since I saw you that they at the cookout I couldn't get you out of my mind."
"Well you're going to find to have to find someway to get me out of you head, Chresanto. I'm with Christopher and I'm happy. I'm not ruining my relationship so I can make you happy."
He sighed. "I'm not asking you to do all that. Just don't act like that around me."
"Like what?" I questioned.
