I placed my plate in the dishwasher and made my way back upstairs. It was only ten so I decided to go over Christopher's house and see what he was doing. It was kind of suspicious that once after we got into that argument, he left out. I didn't think to much of it though. I know I can trust him. Well I think...

I grabbed a pair of sandals, some high waisted shorts and a black bandeau. I let my curls hang for the day. I grabbed my car keys and let Jacob know that I was heading out. It only took me ten minutes to get down the street to where Christopher lived. I opened the apartment building door and pressed the elevator button to go up. I pressed number ten and waited for the slow ride to get to Christopher's floor.

"Who is it?" He asked through the door.

"Your girlfriend." I replied back.

I heard him unlock the various amount of locks that he had on his door. I didn't know if each apart door had that many locks or if it was just his. Seemed kind of weird.

"Hey, babe,"He said, giving me a quick hug and a peck on the lips. "You look good."

"Thanks." I said blushing. I walked into his apartment and he locked the door behind me.

"I know your still mad about yesterday and I just wanted to apologize once again." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I know, Christopher. It's just that I'm gonna need you to stop pressing me about having sex with you. I'm not ready and I don't think that I will be ready anytime soon."

"I know it's just that I have needs too, Brielle."

"And I understand. But if you want to be in a relationship with me than you're going to have to sacrifice something."

He sighed, very heavily. "How much longer do you think I'll wait?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Do you think I'm worth the wait?"

"Is this a trick question?"

"I'm being serious, Christopher!" I screamed.

"No need to get loud, Brielle. Dammit, we've gotten through a lot of things in this relationship. Don't sweat it, aight?"

"Okay, Christopher," I mumbled, playing with the beads on my purse. "Whatever you say."

He sat me down in his lap and kissed my forehead. "Don't sweat it, aight? You know I'm willing to do anything for you. Even if it means that I'll have to wait to for whenever your ready to take our love to another level."

I smiled. "You always make things better when I'm ten seconds away from hurting you."

He chuckled. "Because I love seeing that smile on your face. I don't want you pissed over something as small as this. when you're ready you'll be ready."

I knocked on the door twice. I didn't hear any movement or sign of someone coming to open the door for me. I didn't see any cars in the driveway so there was a possibility of someone not being home. I was about to turn on my heel when I heard the door unlock.

"Sorry, I didn't hear you from all the way upstairs." He said.

I nodded my head and just walked inside. It was quiet that if you dropped a pen in the foyer you could probably hear it from upstairs. I didn't mind the quietness though. It gave my head a rest. This whole week has constantly been noisy and it's not even over yet.

"Do you want something to drink or eat?" He asked me.

I shook my head no and just sat down on the couch to the left of the one facing the flat screen television. My right leg started jumping up and down- something that happens when I'm either nervous or scared.
