Those were the days when we used to express feelings
Now they're just status updates, modern human being
Those were the days when you used to share your lunch
Now we share each other's post, just for fun
Those were the days when we used to hit our friends with paper-ball
Now we nudge, poke or write something on their wall
Those were the days we used to explore - ambitious teen
Now we don't go out without a check-in
Remember that innocent laughter when you were small?
What happened to you? Why you replaced that will LOL
Those were the days when you used to feel
Happiness, Sadness and Love emotionally
Now they got replaced with Emoji
Those were the days when you had a diary
and write everything you went through
Now you just post your problems on Facebook
Those were the days when you had Friends
Now they are just numbers
Those were the days when you used to live
Now you and your soul, just exist
