Guess What I Drew This With?

Take a wild guess.

I didn't draw it with a pencil.

Or a charcoal pencil.

I USED MY BARE HANDS!!!!

I got a bunch of that charcoal pencil stuff on my hands and fingers while I was doing that last drawing and when I flipped the paper over to start a new drawing my hand got on the paper and left a smudge.

Then I got my briliant moment and rubbed even more charcoal on my hands, then I rubbed them all over the paper.

Then I took some of the shavings from the charcoal pencil and sprinkled them over the paper and when I pressed my fingers down on them I started drawing swirls and whatnot.

I was given weird looks by curious onlookers (parents and siblings) and asked, "What are you doing?"

I replied by holding up both of my hands that were pretty much completely black.

I love this drawing and I named it:

Ash and Smoke

Let me know if that sounds familiar to anyone.

The only part of this that wasn't fun was washing my hands off afterwards. Charcoal doesn't come off easily, especially if you've been rubbing it into your hand for about forty five minutes.
