^^Rufus X Reader^^ A Brave Change

It was currently a warm summer day, (Y/N) (L/N) was wandering around town with her boyfriend Rufus Lore.
Rufus had decide to do something brave.
He was going to get a haircut.
Holding hands, they made their way to the Magnolia Barber shop.
"You ready?" (Y/N) smiled.
"As ready as I have ever remembered." He answered.
(Y/N) nods and pulls the door open, letting Rufus in.
"Thank you, (Y/N)." He said.
"No problem."
(Y/N) walked back to a vacant seat as Rufus walked up to the stylist and the talked about something for a few minutes before he sat down and the stylist begun her work.
Not even a moment after, in walked Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Freed.
"Well, what are all of you doing here?" (Y/N) asks.
"Well Natsu here needs a haircut. And Freed also came in for a haircut." Lucy said.
"Oh, well have fun trying to get his hair cut then." (Y/N) laughs.
"Will do." Lucy says grabbing at Natsu's arm.
(Y/N) couldn't help but smile .
She looked over to Rufus, and notice how tense he looked.
She made her way over to him and rested a hand on his shoulder.
Just at the sudden contact he jumped.
"Calm down, you're fine. Trust me."  (Y/N) smiled softly and remover her hand as the barber came back.
'I guess it will take him a little bit to warm up to this side of me.' (Y/N) thought pitifully.
Just like everyone else at Sabertooth, (Y/N) too had a bad side.
~Flashback~
It was during the Grand Magic Games that (Y/N) and Rufus had begun seeing each other. Trying to keep it a secret as much as possible from their master, they decided to lie low about it. If anyone asked, (Y/N) would scoff and look away or started a fight.
But towards the end of the games, during her third battle of the week, (Y/N) thought that it would be nice to insult a Fairy Tail member and at the same time win. With her opponent being Mirajane, it seemed to set off a certain spark in the (H/C) haired female. One that she didn't quite understand herself. The rest of the battle (Y/N) kept getting distracted by that spark. So she decided to continue fighting while at at the same time trying to communicate with Mira.
"I have a question. " (Y/N) thought plainly.
"What would that be?" Mira responded.
"Are you actually going to listen to me or are you going to waste my time?" (Y/N) states with a scowl.
"I'm all ears." She says, throwing punch at (Y/N).
"I don't really know how to put this but, I have this feeling. A feeling that I can't quite understand. And I want to know what it is."
"Well, it depends. What does this feeling make you feel? Sad, happy, angry—"
"Love? I think." (Y/N) said shamefully.
"Oh, that could be it too. Are you seeing someone?" Mira asked.
"No!" (Y/N) exclaimed with a flustered face.
"It's alright if you are. I'm no person to judge. I just think that you should go with you're feelings and change your ways. You don't have to knock everyone down to hide it. " She said, dodging an incoming kick.
The match ended shortly after with Mira being the victor.
So there lies (Y/N), sprawled out in the dust, smiling.
"Thank you, Mirajane." (Y/N) uttered quietly.
"No problem. Take care." Mira responded.
-Flashback End-
And ever since that day, (Y/N) had changed her ways and thoughts of how she treated people.
"(Y/N)...hey. Snap out of it. "
Rufus's voice brought (Y/N) back to her senses.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"I've never felt better." She smiled.
"Great. Now, how does it look?" Rufus asks gesturing to his now short hair.
"It's great. How about we go show everyone at the guild you're new haircut?" She buzzed with happiness.
"Sure." He smiled back.
