Chapter 2

Emma's Pov

*Later that day*

I walk through the apartment only to be hit in the leg by a small body. I smile lifting him into my arms "hey Henry" I smile. "Did you have a good day?" I ask walking into the kitchen.

He nods "momma. I missed you" he says tightly wrapping his arms around my neck.

I smile "I missed you too baby boy! What did you do with Ruby today?" He grins at the mention of his aunts name "we went park and she got me ice cream and we watched cartoons"

I place him in his high chair as he continues rambling on about his day with his Aunt Ruby. I quickly prepare him a quick meal before placing it infront of him.

"Come on Henry" I say to my 1 year old. "Time for bed" I continue.

"But momma!" He whines. I smile lifting him into my arms.

"Wanna sleep with momma?" I ask. He nods eagerly. "Yes pwease momma."

I smile taking him into my room placing him in the bed before joining him shortly after. "Good night Henry" I whisper kissing his forehead.

"Good night momma" he mumbles.

The very next day, I had decided it was best not to show up for Miss Mills lesson so I spent the day with Henry cuddled on the couch watching Disney.

"Momma?" He whispers. "Why I don't have a daddy?" He looks at me with pleading eyes.

I sigh. I thought I'd had more time but I guess he needs to know are my initial thoughts. "Baby. Come here" I say as he crawls into my lap.

"I loved your daddy very much" I say whispering. "Your daddy joined grandma in heaven baby" I continued. "Your daddy would of loved you so much Henry" I say holding back the tears.

"No cry momma. I Sowwie" he says as he lip quivers.

I smile through the tears stroking his hair "don't worry baby. Momma is ok. I love you"

He giggles "wuv you too momma"

Reginas Pov

"Miss Swan?" I call out but get no response. I look around the room only to notice she isn't in class. "Belle? Do you have any idea as to where Miss Swan is?" I say. She shakes her head. I can't tell she's lying but keep it quiet. "I'd like to see you after class please Miss French" I add before continuing with my lesson.

Belles Pov

I look up to double check the teacher ain't looking. I quickly sends Emma a text.

"Are you ok?" I quickly send her the text before receiving an instant reply.

"Yeah I'm fine. Henry had a rough night" she replied.

I nod to myself "hope everything's ok. I'll be round after class to see you x"

She smiles to herself before quickly replying "alright. See yah later"

I smile. My thoughts are suddenly interrupted. "Miss French. Phone now!" I groan internally before handing her my phone. "I will see you after class" she says.

Regina's Pov

As class approached an end. Belle stood infront of me. "Is my class that boring that you find the need to text Miss Swan?" I say sternly.

She gulps and shakes her head. "No miss"

"Where is miss swan?" I ask. She begins stutters. "She uh she wasn't feeling very well Miss. I was just making sure she was fine" I nod. "You're free to go." I say handing her the phone back. "Send her my best wishes" I quickly add before leaving the classroom.

"Why do I care so much about this Miss Swan for" I mumble to myself. I can't be falling for her? Can I? But then again she is very intriguing. There's something about her that I like. I sigh walking to my office.
