the loud piercing sound of the
alarm had jarred hyunhee out of her peaceful sleep as she jolted up and
angrily shut the alarm off her phone.
she groans in annoyance whilst
prying to head back to sleep,
although another piercing sound
of ringing began to shriek.
hyunhee groggily gets up from her position and hops off the comfort of
the bed, straight towards the bathroom.
her eyes were in a state of not
functioning well as she struggled
to get to the bathroom.
hyunhee avoided the mirror
due to the outcome of her
appearance which usually looks
like she got attacked by sasaeng fans,
or in general just horrid.
the time ticked in a slower pace as she hurried to look presentable for school.
"today was another
opportunity to talk to bin."
hyunhee thought.
hyunhee looks at the mirror
once more until she was satisfied
with her appearance.
then, she walks to the kitchen
where her mom is in a rush of leaving.
"good morning eomma."
greets hyunhee.
"morning hyunhee, i'll see you later!"
her mom says, as if the time
stopped ticking.
hyunhee frowned in disappointment
as she recalls the littlest time she ever spent with her mother.
they were always in a rush
to leave every encounter they have
and this all started right when
hyunhee's father had passed.
hyunhee then headed out
as she is greeted by wind.
today's weather was
predicted to be cloudy.
approximately ten minutes,
she touches down the destination
of the school while there were
familiar faces roaming around.
"hyunhee!"
shouts a familiar voice,
enough to catch her attention.
hyunhee looks in several direction
until her gaze meets eunwoo whom
is running towards her direction,
an eye smile spread across his face.
"oh, eunwoo"
says hyunhee.
"let's go to clsss together."
says eunwoo, tagging along.
hyunhee felt the thudding motion in
her chest once again as it did not stop.
it continued to beat faster than usual.
"what am i feeling?"
hyunhee thought.
"hyunhee?"
eunwoo had spoke, snapping
his fingers in front of hyunhee
which luckily got her attention.
she smiles.
and so does he.
