OPR (Prologue)

Even before I was born I was assigned to a boy a few cities away based in genetic factors, my parents had no choice so I don't blame them, it was all decided by the Organization of  Populous Regulation (OPR), which as its name says, regulates how many people can live in each town, city, state, country. This organization was created due the problems that overpopulation had caused and through support of many countries it quickly became the world most powerful potency, even more than the United States and China ,they say that 20% of the population left Earth to Mars in 2020, even though I find it quite odd, since I cant find any register of it, after that the OPR created a huge project of binding all countries together to create "Global peace" they did in 2024, this now means the whole world is controlled by a committee of 20 people ,everyone was happy until The Rules came in.
They started by regulating how many children people could have, the prohibition of any religious practice, the prohibition of gun arms, the prohibition of alcohol, the extreme regulation of drugs, the rations of food for each family, the complete eradication of the LGBTQ community, as they where "un-pure" for the human race, the complete prohibition of the internet to the public, assigned jobs, and the one that in my case affected me the most, birth assigns, basically they tell you who your husband will be before you are even born, this of course brought a lot of controversy, but if you didn't like it, you where sent to Mars, and if you went to Mars, you would never come back, even less hear from your family.
In this world you where just another screw in the machine, that kept everything "working" you had nothing special, no one was remarkable, because "they would cause envy and revolts"  you where told by the government you where not special
