Emi's P.O.V
        "Surprise dorm inspection?!" Aidou shouted.  "Very well then.  Thank you Sieren."  Kaname said ignoring Aidou.  Everyone un the night class began whining about what a bother this was. 
After all the whining i noticed Kain whispering to Aidou before they left.  Kaname and I followed.  "Hanabusa if the dorm president finds these things-"  I could hear Kain say before he was interrupted by Aidou.  Kaname and I now stood at the entrance to their room.  "My collection only mirrors the respect that i have for him.  You only want it for your self dont you?  Well forget it-"  Aidou spat at him like a child.  "OH WHAT THE CRAP." Kaname cut in making their attention turn to them.  Aidou was scared out of his wits.  "Aidou i'd like to speak to you now about our dorms regulations.  It seems that you need to be reminded what they are."  Kaname said scaring him even more.  "Oh brother, i knew this was bound to happen."  I whispered to Kain who nodded in agreement.  I looked over at Kaname.  "Emi"  i knew what he meant.  Instantly all the glass on the lamp above us exploded to pieces.  He smiled.  Aidou thought he did it so he bent to the ground cradling the glass in his hands.  
"I can add these to my collection to !"  he exclaimed in glee.  He remembered Kaname and I and froze.  I looked at Kaname as well and i backed away.  "We'll j-just g-g-go..."  Kain and i said in unison. "  Ah!!!!!"  Aidou wined from the pain of Kaname's slap.  "He asked for it"  Kain said to me.  "What a masochist."  I reminded him.
*Moments Later*  
        "Get rid of it all." Kaname demanded Shiki and Ichijou.  We were now all in our uniforms because Yuki and Zero were on their way.  Kaname and I leaned against the window.  Him with arm crossed and a foot on the wall.  Same was i but not with a foot against the wall.  "If I build muscles from this my agent will be very upset."  Shiki  said to me.   "Shiki i doubt you will get muscles just from carrying a few boxes"  I smirked at him.  "Modeling is hard work, isnt it?"  Ichijou said to him with a smile and closed eyes.  I looked over at Aidou, sobbing on the floor.  "O-oh my poor collection!"  He sobbed.  "Dont hold this against me."  Kain reminded him.   I walked over to aidou and patted his back.  " find a hobby or something Aidou.  One that doesn't include collecting trash."  I added and walked back to Kaname.We watched as Yuki fell on top of zero.  "She found them"  I whispered under my breath.  Zero got up and walked away, Yuki running behind him.  Kaname watched out the window with pained eyes.  "Looks like the disciplinary committee isnt coming."  Shiki said running his hand through his hair.  "The surprise inspection must be cancelled."  Ichijou added.  I looked over at Kaname who had a disappointed look on his face.  I felt a tear threaten to fall and i blinked it away.  "What?  You mean my little slice of happiness was destroy for nothing?!  "  He said slamming his hands against the window.  Kaname turned to him.  And he backed away.  Kaname had a stern look but soon turned back to the window depressed.  I dropped my head.  Theres no point.  I cant compete with her.  I started to walk away.  "Emi?"  Kaname called after me.  I stopped.  "  I would like to be alone right now, Kaname."  I said and walked away again.  He didnt respond just watched me shrink farther away.

  As I walked away from Kaname i past by a large window.  I could see Zero  walking put of the academy and Yuki hesitating as to weather she should follow him.  Finally she started chasing after him.  NO  I thought.  I ran out of the Night dorms as fast as I could.  I've heard of Yuki's past from Kaname.  How she was attacked once.  And how afterwards she was always afraid to be in the town alone.  She said she had gotten over her fear but...  I ran out of academy grounds and into town.  The town is crawling with level E's I can sense them!  Still no sign of Yuki.  Dammit!    "Yuki!"  I called out stopping at a fountain.  I looked at my reflection.  Trying to save the girl who has stolen the heart of the man i love.  How pathetic of me.  But.  I couldnt let her get herself in danger that wasn't me either.  I looked at my reflection.  People were beginning to stare.  "Hey babe!  How bout you come hang with us?"  A boy about my age called from behind me.  He had a group of boys around him and they were wolf whistling or looking me up and down.  "No thank you."  I said coldly.   I start to walk out again further into town.  I tried as hard as possible to follow her scent.   THERE!  I caught a glimpse of her black uniform as it ran after a young boy.  Before i knew it i was walking down a long trail of stairs.  Broken down buildings all around me.  I keep walking further down until i suddenly stop.  I can sense 2 level E's!  I sprinted into a run "Yuki!"  I called out no response.  "Yuki!!"  "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"  I hear her terrified shriek before smelling her blood.  I shoot forward again.  "Yuki!"  I call again running to her.  We were now on a roof.  "Emi."  She stops and turns around.  "Yuki watch out!"  I jump in front of her Just in time to kick the female Level E away. "Run!"  I shout at her.  She obeyed and jumped off the roof.  I turned back to the level E.  Gone.  "Ugh"  i hiss.  I ran in the same direction Yuki did and was by her side in seconds.  "Emi!  Are you alright?"  She asked when i caught up.  I looked at my sleeve.  There was a ling gash form the monster but it was starting to heal.  "Im fine.  YOUR the one in danger follow me."  I told her.  She didnt argue.  We ran up a flight of stairs again and i found a small attic.    She tried opening the door but it was locked.  I punched it once and it popped open like a bottle cap.  "Hurry" I whispered.  She climbed in and i shut the door behind us.  She dropped on the floor shaking.  "Yuki it will be alright.  I'll keep you safe."   I wasn't doing this for Kaname.  I was doing this for her.  I dont like to see ANYONE suffer or cower in fear.    I leaned her back against the wall and she shook some more.  "Yuki try to calm yourself."  I noticed the two fang marks on her hand and i ripped off my red ribbon and tied it around her wound.  She clenched tight to Artemis and was ready for a fight against the Level E's. I smiled at her effort before standing up.  She guarded the door and I walked towards the opened window.  I saw Zero outside inspecting some of Yuki's blood that was on the ground.  I saw the female level E jump towards him.  "Zero!"  I jumped out of the window landing on the Level E.  I landed a punch at her as she cowered in fear from me being a pureblood.   I punched it across the face before I jumped off and Zero kicked it into another building.  "I see.  It's already lost it's link to humanity  hasn't it?"  He asked me. I nodded and it charged at him again.  He pulled his gun out but didnt shoot.  "Zero...?"  I was stunned.  Confused.  The monster as well.  It stood frozen.  "You...one of us."  The thing said to him.  His eyes widened.  "One. Of. Us" the thing repeated with a wicked smile.  "Shut up!"  Zero hissed and pulled the trigger.  The Level E turned to dust and behind it stood the child.  The one that hurt yuki.  "Ichiro..."  Zero whispered.  It must remind him of his dead brother.  He couldn't move.  His eyes stayed locked on the child.  It laughed maniacally and ran up the building wall.   "Yuki!!"  I yelled before hearing her terrified scream.  I climbed up the same way it did but more graceful and jumping from window to window.  I jumped into the room to see Yuki wielding Artemis and the thing sitting on top of it trying to claw her face.  It made a small scratch and ripped her sleeve as well.  I used my powers and wind pulled the child back making him crash against the wall.  It landed on the wheel to ring the church bell and the sound echoed around us.  Yuki dropped Artemis and covered her ears.    It lunged at her.  "Freeze!"  I shouted at it.  It turned to me with wide eyes. I walked towards it with red eyes.   "Poor thing..." I began.  suddenly i saw a long shadow on the hard wooden floor and the Level E also turned its attention to it.  I turned around my red eyes glistening in the sunlight.  "Kaname..." I whispered.  "You poor creature...ending up like this."  He frowned at the Level E.  "Emi, thank you for keeping Yuki safe."  I nodded and stood by Yuki.  He walked towards her as well.  I moved aside as he held her protectively in his arms.  "However, "  his hand covered her eyes.  "The person you've chosen to hurt is someone very dear to me."  He hissed with red eyes now. That hurt...  I let my eyes turn back to blue.  Wind traveled away from Kaname and to the child.  It was too strong so i too closed my eyes.  "It's over now."  He whispered to yuki."  I walked to the door unseen, unheard.  There really is no place for me in his life...  I thought shutting the attic door behind me.  I turned around and bumped into a black jacked.  "Zero?"  He was breathing deeply from the scent of Yuki's blood.  "Emi *deep breath* help"  He was trying not to attack her.  I nodded and put his arm over my shoulder and mine around his waist helping him up and dragging him outside.  "Lets go!"  I whispered to him.

  I leaned zero on the wall of a near by building as he gasped for air.  Finally he was calming down.  I sat next to him and lookd up at the sun which was now setting.  "However, the person you've chosen to hurt is someone very dear to me."   his words replayed in my head like a broken record.    I put my hand over my heart as the pain set in.  Kaname.  Twelve years! Twelve year is how long we have been together and never.  Never has he put me through this much pain and suffering.  I've made my decision.  I cant deal with this any longer.  Ill watch over him from far away but...  I can not allow myself to get closer to him.  Not with Yuki around.  I have decided.  I will no longer attend cross academy...
