Maya and Josh made up. They've been dating for almost 3 years now. Josh is graduating college in the next week. He graduated kind early, so Maya hasn't graduated yet, and Maya got held back for failing a couple classes. Josh goes to the Matthews apartment.
Josh- is Maya here?
Cory- you know that's all I hear anymore, Maya Maya Maya. No more hey brother. But no, she isn't here
Josh- there might not be much more Maya
Cory- why?
Josh- I just got a call. I got a job. In California.
Cory- what?!?!
Josh- yeah
Cory- when did you apply for it
Josh- 6 months ago
Cory- tell her, now.
Josh- I don't know if I'm going to take it.
Cory- you have to
Josh- what about Maya
Cory- if she loves you she will support you.
A week later they are all at Josh's graduation ceremony. It just finished and Josh came up to Maya and hugged her. And started tearing up.
Maya- what's wrong?
Josh- I just love these hugs so much.
Maya- let's go talk.
They go in a private room, Josh took the job and leaves on Monday and it's Saturday but he doesn't tell Maya. They just talk about random stuff. Cory comes in.
Cory- I'm really sorry guys, but maybe Maya can visit with us, and move to California when she graduates.
Maya- what are you talking about?
Josh- I haven't told her yet!!!!
Cory- oh, well then
Maya- what's going on
Josh- umm. Maya.
Maya- what?!
Josh- I'm moving to California on Monday for a job.
Maya- how long have you known?
Josh- I applied 6 months ago, and I got the job a week ago.
Maya- Josh!!!!!
Josh- we can make it work.
Maya- why didn't you tell me?
Josh- I could do it. Every time I think about leaving you my heart breaks.
Maya- but.
Josh- I love you Maya. I don't want to leave you but I have to.
May- I know, I'm proud of you. We can always have a long distance relationship.
Josh- how about we don't.
Maya- what? Josh I Love you too.
Josh- I know that's why I'm doing this. Maya, you're 18, I'm 21, I talked to Shawn and Katy already. I don't have a ring, but will you marry me?
Cory- oooooooohhhhhh
Maya- ummm. Umm. Yes!!!!!!
They kiss.
Corey- umm, not to ruin the special moment, but Josh, have you talked to mom and dad
Josh- yeah.
Cory- you didn't ask me
Josh- ummm, oh well
Maya- come on Matthews, you know you love me.
Cory- something like that
Maya- wait... You're going to be my brother.... Maybe we should rethink this Josh! Haha, just kidding. But what about school.
Josh-You can do it online, or in California.
Maya- okay! Let's do this!!!
The rest of the family walks in
Riley- Josh! You didn't tell her yet!!
Josh- I told her
Riley- why is she happy?!
Maya- were getting married!
