beginning a new life

my new schedule

I looked and saw the paper she handed me was my new schedule. I only have five main classes that I see, but I am supposed to have seven or eight classes total.

  I was about to walk out the door before I walked into her office and asked," why do I only have five classes?" She responded," well since you never signed up for any extra classes they didn't know what to put you in!" I asked nicely," can I sign up for those classes here or where do I need to go?" She handed me a plain white sheet of paper. I looked at the top of the paper and it said" extra classes signup sheet"

I walked out of the office and sat at the table against the wall near the office. I grabbed a pencil from the cup in the center of the table.

I began reading what the paper said, strangely I have never wanted to read more in my life. All it basically said was you can't change out of your class after being in it for two weeks. Explaining what to do and how to choose classes. I look towards the bottom of the paper and saw some classes with boxes next to them. I had to make sure I knew what the class was before I picked it. I knew I was going to be bored in any of the classes I was going to pick. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hate everything here but I seem happier here than I do at home. I finished filling out the paper, then I placed it in the box.

Then I walked away from the office because I didn't need anything here anymore. I looked at my schedule and saw I didn't have a class because I didn't pick my P.E credit. I didn't pick my classes last year so this is my temporary schedule because I wasn't here.

I walked slowly to my little spot in a corner next to the library. I chose this spot because not many people come near here. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read or write a story. I really wanted to find out who Sky falls for. Who does Sky fall for Lizzy or Joy? Normally I don't like love triangles but this one is different I was actually different, I was actually interested I grabbed out my phone and started reading my whole world again. Sky walked up to Lizzy...", was all I got to read before someone began tapping on my shoulder.

I said "hey" without even looking up to see who it was. "hey do you know where History class is in this place", a guy's voice asked. His voice seemed so familiar, I don't remember from where but I know it's from somewhere I've been recently. I slightly turned around that smell.... I know that smell. I know that smell.... Where do I know that smell from? I said" yeah I know where it is. Are you late or is that your next class?"

Alex's POV:

I looked at my schedule and I did not have a first class, I've walked up and down all the hallways (I've found) to find my next class, I go to the one hallway I haven't looked down yet, I see a girl with dark brown hair in a braded bun. Clare always does her hair like that, could it be her? I walk up behind her and start taping gently on her right shoulder trying to get her attention.

She said "hey" without turning around. She turned around just a little bit and the little bit I saw looked just like Clare.  But no it can't be we agreed not to meet up again after our fight.

Flashback

"Clare I want to stay in my house but I can't my parents told me I'm moving. I don't know where I am moving either."

"Alex just stay; you can stay my house please I don't want you to leave. I don't want to lose you; you make me feel alive again. I just can't live without you, you mean everything to me, you're the reason I am still here." When she spoke those words my heart began to hurt. She means the world to me.

"Clare I want to stay I promise you, I love you but I can't have a long distance relationship I really want to be with you I don't want to hurt you from a distance. You are the reason I haven't hurt myself recently you're; my whole world. I hope to see you again soon."

"Please don't do this to me, tell your parents you don't want to go. I love you more than you love your new parents, you're my everything. I hope to see you really soon." As she spoke those words tears were falling down her face. Tears were rolling down my face because my whole world is crying. I just ruined our new beginning by being honest but I told her before the day of. 

"Please don't make this harder than it has to be. I really do love you but I don't want to have to tell you later. Maybe we shouldn't meet up after this moment ever, it will be too hard on me." I really don't want to hurt her, I asked her if she is alright. She says she's fine but I looked deep into her eyes and see she is breaking down and dying inside. What have I done to her.

End of flash back

I really want it to be her but I don't want it to be her. I haven't seen her in forever and that perfect face, smell, smile. Everything about her was perfect, I can't think of one thing bad about her. That flashback made me think of her even more. I've got to get her out of my mind, she's gone.

Clare's POV:

I heard his voice and the smell it all seemed so familiar. "AJ is that you?"

"Yeah, do I know you?" "yeah, what are you doing here"

I stand up and turn around, AJ stands up and looks at me his face turns pale and he looks at me. Even though he's pale his checks are red and his eyes are locked in place with mine. I don't know what to do, he looks too perfect, I hope he still loves me too. Our meeting couldn't have been an accident, if we met again it must have been fate bring us back together.

I had a flash back of our fight, I don't know what to say to him. If I say I still love him what would he do. I am supposed to be over him, I mean all my friends say that I need to get over him. I was 95% over him till he shows up in my life again and now my school.
