It was a usual day in Hogwarts. Destiny Moon woke up before her dormmates as usual. She looked over and chuckled how Lilly Potter fell asleep with her glasses on knowing the young girl procrastinated and did her homework in the last minute. She looked to her left and saw Ella Gold sprawled across her bed snoring. She chuckled and got ready for the day. She put on her uniform before tying her hair in a pony tail so it won't bother her and fall in front of her face when she goes to class. She made sure she had all her things before venturing down stairs.
Destiny walked quietly to the Great hall where there were only a few students already their eating breakfast, some even half asleep. She sat down in her usual place and poured herself a drink before taking a sip. She enjoyed these mornings alone, it gave her time to think. She would usually daydream and wonder about the wizarding world.
"Morning Des" she looked up and it was Lilly and Ella
"Morning Lills morning Ella" she smiled widely
"Can I see your potions homework I wanted to see if I was right" Ella said pulling out her homework
Destiny gave her homework to Ella and watched as Ella check the answers while Lilly go grab herself some breakfast. Destiny began eating her breakfast and watched the great hall get filled with students.
"Hey girls" she looked up already knowing it would be James Potter. Destiny rolled my eyes before smiling softly at Scorpious Malfoy who gave her a sympathetic smile all to familiar to what his dear friend is about to do.
"Why hello there my Destiny" James winked
"Hello idiot" Destiny glared
"Aw come on, one of these days Moon you will fall for me" James smirked
"Your father won't mind if I murder him right?" Destiny asked Lilly who laughed
"Alright James lets go before she really kills you" Scorp said dragging James to their usual seats.
James was whining on how he never gotten to ask her to hogsmead.
"Your brother will be the death of me" Destiny chuckled before going back to eating her breakfast.
The bell rung and the girls gathered their things before walking to their first class, being two years older than Lilly, she and Ella had Potions for their first class. Destiny sat down beside Albus Potter, James Potter's twin brother. The class started to piled in while the two chatted for a while.
"Hey Des" he smiled at the girl
"Hey Al how was the assignment for you?" She asked
"Good but James made me help him since he was helping me in Defense Against the Dark Arts" Albes mumbled
This caused the girl to giggle softly. That was the difference between the twins. James is amazing as Defense Against the Dark Arts while Albus was an overachiever in Potions.
"Alright let's begin" Their professor announced coming in the classroom.
After class, Albus had Herbology while Destiny had free period. Albus said good bye to the girl for now and that he will see her at lunch. Destiny decided to sit by the black lake.
Not to far from Destiny, James spotted her. James stared at how her long brown hair flowed in the wind.
"James stop staring at the poor girl" Scorpious said flicking his best friends head
James glared at Scorpious and watched as Destiny pulled out a book to read so she could passed the time.
"Maybe I should go over there" James was about to stand when the young Malfoy pulled him down.
