I lean back on to the kitchen counters staring across the room at Mycroft, neither of us have said a word nor made eye contact

"What in bloody hell was all that? Was all that necessary?" His voice rises more at each question "isn't marriage about honesty?" I raise my eyebrow, crossing my arms waiting for his response

"This isn't a marriage"

"then what do you call this? I mean I believe any form of marriage arranged or consenting in the end it's a marriage" those are my beliefs and shall always be

"What this is? This is a contract, a business arrangement for our bloody parents! This has nothing to do with us! And it will never be, we are pawns they are the kings and queens they control us and they always will!" He barks stepping closer to me "back up!" I don't want him closer i don't know what he'll do "(Y/N) in the end we can't get a divorce, we are stuck together" another step closer and fear builds up more "Back up! Back up back up back up! Do not come near me! You are way beyond pissed and I don't trust you to be near me!" Well dammit! That's meaner than I thought!

He backs up to his original spot and glares at me "you know... I actually thought that it could be an actual marriage where people care about each other and respect each other... I mean I thought if I did everything right it could work out... But I'm just an idiot what do I know I mean truly" the simple sigh escapes my lip as I look Down at my feet

I know he's trying to figure out what to say but he can't, I've left him speechless and there's nothing I can do "i'm... Going to go see Sherlock... Maybe he'll treat me better..." I mutter walking past my 'husband' grabbing my purse on the way out

After hailing a cab and long ride I finally arrive at Sherlocks home, though he didn't give me his address a little research had done me some good

Cab is paid, I'm at the right destination... I hope, but now it's time for awkward interactions with Sherlock Holmes

I knock on the door after noticing that knocker is crooked and after I straighten it, I'm greeted quickly by an older woman

"Oh hello there how can I help you today?" She beams, if Sherlock or Mycroft did such a thing it would put me in an uncomfortable position but it suited this woman "oh I'm here to see Sherlock Holmes" I clear my throat clutching my purse straps nervously hoping I am at the right place

"Oh are you a client?" Client?.. Oh right I remember now he's the 'great' consulting detective

"No I'm a family friend" that's a lie, don't lie to her she's a sweet old lady tell her you're his sister in law I mean that's what I am... Right?

"Ah yes I see, well just head on up, he's on the second floor" she nods keeping her smile on as she moves aside, I smile back and walk past her and up the stairs seeing the door to his flat come into view, I notice his door is wide open so proceed inside

My god this place is messy! I mean books, garbage, swords, guns, spray paint, bullet holes, human remains?... Oh and now there is a small man here!

"Oh hello! Are you a client?" The short man asks me a small smile plastered on his lips which must I say is kinda cute "oh no I'm uh..."
Why can't I think of anything?!

"Ma'am?" The man is now looking a little irritated with me which is not good "ah (Y/N)! Didn't expect you here!" Sherlock greeted me helping me avoid the awkwardness "hello... Again" I nod awkwardly "oh John this (Y/N)" Sherlock introduces us and I can see John is eyeing me
