(A/N :In my version of SAO You do feel pain but only a little less then you would IRL When someone die's or something breaks in the game it doesn't explode into shards, it instead disintegrates immediately in 5 minutes but during those minutes what has broken can be fully interacted with example: a knife can still cut after it has been been broken in two, And "Safe zones" are areas where you cannot be killed by other player's openly a duel request is still required but inviormental kills are still plausible)

----Kirito's POV----

I do like my sword but I do need something equally good or better to use if i ever find myself in a situation that i would need to use the "Thing" I'm going to check the blacksmith that Asuna suggested, She told me that she is very good I just hope that she is good enough.

----Lizbeth's POV----

*In the back of the shop*
"Okay the start of a new day, I have enough material's for a good while, my masterpiece is framed nicely on the wall and my smithing skills are off the charts ,HA!!" I can't help but feel great when i look at my masterpiece.*sounds of chimes and a door opening* "Oh looks like I have a customer, better get ready" I stood in front of a mirror and styled my hair "okay its time to meet'em" I open the door the door with a big smile on my face so big that my eyes were shut "Welcome to Lizbeth's shop, how may I he-" i stopped myself when i opened my eyes and saw a tall, skinny and black haired swordsman. I slightly blushed at the thought and then started to slightly check him out.

---- KIRITOS POV ----

When I entered the shop i was surprised to see how many weapons there were and they weren't half-bad either but just not as good as i was looking for.
Almost immediately after finishing that thought a girl who I already knew was Lizbeth thanks to the stores name entered the room very optimistic and said "Welcome to Lizbeth's shop how may I he-" After that she stood quiet for a good minute while I was looking at a sword that looked very good but the stats were still not even close to what I was looking for.
I sneakily looked at her with the edge of my eye and noticed she was checking me out "Heh, Like what you see?" I said with a smirk "O-Oh well yes w-wait I-I mean no, no no wait I-I was just umm looking at my swords, yeah thats it. I'm sorry i need to do something real quick, heh, give me a minute" I looked at her as she ran to the back with her face blood red

----Lizbeth's POV----
(I'm sorry but I'm going to keep switching POV)

"I'm sorry I need to do something real quick, heh, give me a minute" I could feel my face get lava hot and blood red as i ran to the back and looked at myself in the mirror " What the hell is wrong with me, did i need to make it so obvious?!?! Okay its a stretch but maybe he has not caught on" I stayed back waited for about 2 minutes for my face to cool down, then i went back to the store to see the Kirito guy waiting for me in the counter. (I knew his gamertag because I get the profile of any customer that enters my shop) I sighed and went to him and told him " I'm so sorry for that" I said with a smile on my face "Don't worry i wasn't to far from doing the same thing"
He said with a smirk as his eyes traveled up and down my body.
"Oh I'm so sorry I-I didn't mean to say that" He said in rapidly "What I came here for was a sword that is equally good or better than the one I have" He explained with a slight blush spread across his face.
"hmmmm even though i haven't seen your sword I think I have one that might want but is Col (SAO money) a problem" I asked since its a common question i asked all of my customers "No not really "Well ok then, here" I turned to the wall behind the counter and brought down my precious masterpiece and gave it to him so he could look at it "Well...can I test it" He said smiling "Test it? what do you mean b-" I was interrupted by the sound of Kirito equipping his blade " Wait - WHAT DO YOU ARE DOING IN MAH SHOP?!?!?!"
"I'm testing it" he said"B-But do you need to do it in here?!"I told him trying to convince him not to do it "Well want to do it outside?" "W-Well no" "Then its settled" " Fine but i'm not responsible if your sword breaks!!" I said in protest

---- NO ONE'S POV ----

When Kirito wielded the "masterpiece" and hit with his full force against his own sword breaking the "masterpiece" immediately. The sharp end of it went flying across the store bouncing right of the walls and display cases somehow not getting stuck

----KIRITO'S POV---

I dodged it multiple times still keeping my eyes on it Liz doing the same. I was still at my spot in front of the counter but since Liz didn't have the dodging skill level that I had she moved about 5 feet away. This song and dance went on for like 30 seconds until I noticed that the shard was aiming straight for her neck, in the heat of the moment I dropped my sword and ran in front of Lizbeth covering her,you closed your eyes awaiting the impact "Ack!!" I yell as I saw my health rapidly decrease, the shard seemed to hit my heart because my HP bar went down into the red. You could hear a muffled scream "KIRITO!!" as you opened your eyes you saw Lizbeth with tears down her face and looking at you with widened eyes. You chuckled "Heh, your ok... I made it in time"

----LIZBETH'S POV----

"I made it in time" he said smiling before falling to the ground. I got on my knees and beside him crying, hoping that in 5 minutes he would not disappear. Since we were still in a safe zone I could not see his health bar or his status so all i could do is wait.

I closed the store from my menu so we would not be disturbed and I just stood there watching with tears going down my cheeks and praying for him to be alive.

After about a 2 minutes I got a message from Asuna

"Hey Liz I heard Kirito was going to see you, he is the guy i have been telling you about, please be nice to him I know he might be a bit rough around the edges but he is very nice once you get to know him."

When I read that i started crying even more, Asuna has told me everything about this guy, "I think i know more of him than i do of Asuna" I thought to myself.

I could feel myself start to get weak and about to pass out from the exhaustion. I laid next to Kirito and put my head on his chest and holding his right hand tightly interlocking my fingers with his as if to not let him go, then i slowly drift of to sleep thinking of him,"Kirito my savior."
