Right Shoulder Love

By: Angelin21

When I look at the mirror,

I always saw a different me,

The person that I want to be,

And somehow I wish I was she.

I was a little girl back then,

Walking on a cemented road,

A few miles away from my home,

Having no friends or enemies; just myself.

Books are my dear friends,

Ballpen and papers are my voice,

My mother's preach is my wisdom,

And coffee awakens my soul.

Darkness is my nightmare,

While anime is my dreamlike,

Love is my enemy,

Yet I do wish for a prince.

My life is aberrant unlike the others,

So I choose to build a fortress wall,

That will keep them all away,

Away from their heart, away from their hands.

The rain has fallen and summer had passed,

Years had ended but things were still alike,

Yet the engine starts out of the blue,

Driving in an endless paths like me and you.

But one unusual morning happened,

When somebody like you pulled me out,

Away from my dungeon of sorrow and fear,

While leading me to the door of humanity.

Things had changed since then,

Smile and happiness started to revolve,

Though I still have the disdain on my hands,

I can mingle to you like nothing  happened.

Should I adopt to these changes,

Or should I go back to my old self again,

Countless thoughts and feelings had been raised,

Once again, I am alone, anxious and unanswered.

Then when I heard silence speaks up,

Being alone is not what I truly want,

Hearing your voice is what I desire,

Like wishing a confession from your heart.
