Life is bitter-sweet,
It gives a nice appearance,
Good, sweet, and gentle.
But that's just an appearance.
When you get all deep,
Everything changes,
The good turn terrible,
The sweet turns bitter,
And the gentle becomes harsh.
But after going through it all,
All the things it throws at you,
It changes once again,
It becomes good, sweet, and gentle once more.
And things turn out for the best.
A rainbow appears,
And stars make their presence known,
The ocean seems more blue and shiny,
While the sky seems more shiny and blue
And they brighten our day,
And keep our spirits high.
Make it look like nothing is wrong.
But that's just it,
That's life.
And we can never change its cycle.
