Chapter 12 - We Check Into A Motel.......

Alexis POV

"Alexis sweetheart, are you awake ??" Adam said shaking me outta my sleep.

"I am now" I said rubbing my eyes.

"We should get going, the earlier we start the faster we can get out of here"

"Yeah okay"

"Lemme help you up" Adam said standing up and giving me his hand.

"Thanks" I said waking up of the ground and just before I stood up straight I mis-balanced and fell on my side,

"Ouuuuuuuuccch" I moaned.

"oh my gosh ! Are you alright ??" Adam said picking me up.

"Yeah, but something in your jacket poked me" I said to Adam.

"There must be something in the inner pocket, check"

"Okay" I said unzipping the jacket, I checked the pocket and found a card.

"What did you find ??" asked Adam.

"Its a card" I said pulling it out and showing him.

"Hey that's my credit card !!"

"Can you use it out of the country ??"

"Yeah its a visa"

"Great !!"

"We have to find a way out of this forest first"

"We better get going then"

Adam and I walked through the wilderness for hours with nothing but the birds in the trees and the beetles on the ground keeping us company. As we walked together Adam didn't talk much he seemed distant for some reason.

We came to a stop,

"Look Alexis !"

"What is it Addy ??"

"It's a little road"

"Where ??"

"Just up that hill, c'mon lets go"

"Okay" I said although I wasn't very happy about walking up a muddy hill cause I didn't wanna wreak my Louis Vuitton shoes but of course in a situation like this safety comes before fashion.

Adam held my hand as we climbed the hill together.

We reached the top to see that it was a little dirt road that looks like it's hardy been in use.

"We gotta follow the root" Adam said.

"Yeah but which way ? North or South ??"

"Hmmmm North"

"And how do you know it's the right way ??"

"I just know"

"Mmmmm"

"What ?!? I trust my inner navigation"

"Oh now you have a built in GPS !"

"Alexis we don't have a choice"

"Yes we do ! A choice between North or South !!"

"Can't you just trust me on this ??"

"Adam.....I......uh.......okay fine North it is"
