"Argh!" Serene knew how strong her brother was, he was the son of an Alpha so she didn't see the need to defend herself against him. He was only going to beat her more, destroy her pride, and make her feel weak. He got it from their father, he was ruthless; he could care less about another being's body.

"Did father teach you nothing? All those years of torment, baby sister. It must have washed away. You're a White Wolf not a fucking Rogue! The way you acted in the bar was unacceptable. This isn't our home Serene, you can't throw punches and attack whoever just because you're a Dead Alpha's daughter. You don't have the right to that title anymore. Father is dead!"

Jayden grabbed Serene by the roots of hair forcing her to face him. Her busted lip, black eye, and the many blisters on her face pained Jayden. He didn't want to hurt his sister, but as a commander and follower for the Alpha, he had to carry out punishments. Ever since the Black Moon pack was killed by the Blood Moon pack, he was stripped from his birth right as an Alpha and branded with the blood the Blood Moon pack. He didn't even have a choice to choose death because of his birth right, Alpha Nix was smart to keep him alive and turn him into a puppet for him and the Beta. If he could ever become an Alpha, it would be under the Blood Moon pack and he would be nothing than a branch in a tree of the pack.

A side Alpha that had little control and say in anything regarding the pack.

Serene coughed up some blood, "J-just like you...you don't have your title a-anymore. None o-of us do-"

Jayden sucked in a breath before throwing Serene at a nearby pillar.

Serene's scream was cut short when Jayden covered her mouth.

"Didn't father teach us not to scream?"

The memories of her father striking her back with leather belts soaked in Wolfsbane, haunted her. Her father always said that screaming showed that you felt pain and tears which meant that you had a weakness. She was never allowed to show her emotions and she hated that about her father.

"What do you want from me? To fight back? You're just going to beat my ass!"

He sighed, "Why Silly Dilly?" He let go of his sister's face.

Pain flashed through his eyes, so he averted his gaze away from her. He didn't hate her, he loved his sister more than himself; seeing her hurt was not a part of the plan, but he was hurting her. Ever since she was born, he knew he had to protect her not only because she was his little sister, but because she was a White Wolf. She was a precious gem that he didn't want to share with anyone.

"I'm surprise you remember that nick name."

"I gave it to you," he sighed, "Mother sung it to you all the time...Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly, and you're a silly dilly."

"Why must you be a jackass one minute and a sweetheart the next?" She groaned in pain.

"You think I want to be this way? I can't stand being someone's bitch. If I could be an Alpha again I would take you far away from this place."

"What about Patrick?"

"That idiot can't even boil water how is he supposed to survive?"

Serene laughed to lighten up the mood despite the pain she felt in her stomach, it wasn't every day that she got to see Jayden and hold a conversation with him. He was locked away inside the pack house doing god knows what for Alpha. Even when they did see each other it was usually in these predicaments filled with pain, suffering, and heartache.
