Ryan woke up to his wife's quiet crying, and he got up, becoming panicked. He pulled on his boxers and looked up to see the bathroom door slightly open. He rushed to the door, knocking on it quietly.

"Baby, are you okay? What's wrong?" He asked, pushing the door open. He saw her on the floor, a black blanket pulled over her bare body, sitting next to the toilet.

He kneeled down next to her, taking her hand in his own. "I'm okay," she mumbled, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "I'm okay, Ry."

"What's a matter, baby?" He picked her up gently, carrying her to the bed, and he sat her down, wrapping the blanket around her tightly. "Did you throw up? Are you sick?"

"I'm not sick, Ryan. Just come lay down with me. I have to tell you something," she said, patting the spot on the bed next to her.

"Are you sure?" He asked, moving to lay next to her.

"Yeah, just..." She sighed, starting to tear up again. "I-I'm pregnant," she mumbled, turning away from him.

"R-Really...we're going to have a baby?" He asked, stuttering slightly. She nodded, still looking at the wall. "That's...that's amazing."

"W-What? You're happy about this?" She asked, turning towards him.

"Of course!" He sat up and moved so his hands were next to her shoulders. "Y/n, we made a human! There's a baby that's half of both of us inside you!"

She was crying now, a smile on her face, and Ryan scooted down closer to her stomach. "How many months?" He asked, looking up at her.

"Three, almost four." She answered, running her hands through his hair gently. "I, uh, went to the doctors a few days before you came home. I wanted to figure out why my stomach had been getting bigger for no reason, and I never really thought that I could be pregnant."

"I love you, and I know I'm going to love our baby," he stated, kissing her stomach tenderly.

"I love you too, Ry. Now come up here and cuddle with me," she pulled him up to her, and they snuggled together until they fell asleep.

Was this okay?
