.Null Chapter 1: System Crash

We live in a world revolving around technology. Not like your world where it is possible live without the stuff. Our world could not have started without technology. Video games, cell phones, you name it. If it has circuits and wires, we need it.

There are people in this world, whom require technology to survive. We call them "NX". No one knows when people started calling them that. All we knows is that they exist.

Killian Palms was an NX from birth. When his mother birthed him, his heart was not working properly. It would work fine for about 10 sec-5 min but then would stop working. The doctors realized he was an NX but even when the gave him the implant, his heart would still act up. No one had ever seen this before so the doctors didn't know what to do so they hooked him up to the scanner. The doctors were immediately confused. Instead of the scanner telling them what was wrong, it just read of ".null".

All of a sudden Killian's eyes started glowing. There was a huge white flash that covered the city, then everything went black. All of the technology in the city shut off. The government was in a huge panic. Then everything went back on. No one can seem to recall what happened during the blackout. Everyone excluding the .nulls.
