Accepting Death

Where am I? I thought sitting up. I was surrounded by white as far as I could see, looking down I saw only a ghost of what I had been. I knew I must be dead because I couldn't feel pain and after the car accident I sure was in a lot of it.

  "Mom where are we going?" I asked. It was my birthday and my parents were taking me to a surprise but where and what it was I didn't know. "If I told you then it wouldn't be a su..." All of the sudden a semi truck slammed into our car killing me instantly. My parents survived but did get injured quite a bit.

Now I'm here but the question is where is here?
