Glyde is a secret boss battle in the game Undertale. The fandom has many questions about this scorpion fish... Thing... Anyway, lets get started!
Who is Glyde?
I think Glyde is an unpopular and rather hated actor. But Glyde is jealous of Mettaton for his success at their career. Therefore, Glyde goes to Toby, or the Annoying Dog as most people know him as. "Why him though?" you may ask, well, Toby has the role of "the keeper" or the god-like abilty to create, control, and edit the fabric of reality.
Anyways, Glyde wants Toby to erase Mettaton and make him the #1 star of the Underground. When you (Frisk) comes along, Glyde wants to trick you into doing his deeds, such as asking Toby for him. Which is why you encounter him.
But he fails and moves on, either murdered (genocide) or left to let go of his dream (pacifst; neutral)
