I closed the curtains, I ran across the murky carpet which had fade long ago, I dodged my patched up couch and to the door, I made sure it was locked, all the locks locked, I had twenty seven locks to be exact. Some rusted and some new.
I fiddled with my keys, putting them into my ripped checkers shirt, the secret pocket I had sewn on.
I continued my running over the the kitchen, I checked the lock and quickly shut the green sun-faded curtains.
My shaky hands fiddled around in my off the hinges cupboard.
I found my knife, putting it into my belt.
I was fighting for my life here.
