Part 1

Junior year. I'd never been so excited for one day in my whole life. Junior year is gonna be the most hectic year ever, and senior year is going to fly by, so it's like I only have one year left. As I looked around at all the fresh new faces, I saw some cute guys...and girls. Yep, that's right, I'm bisexual. Just don't tell my mom that, she'd kill me. I haven't exactly told my mom about how I feel about girls, but what she doesn't know won't kill her...right?

Anyway, I walk through the front door of the school and ran to the third floor where homeroom was. Who knew three flights of stairs could be so tiring. After I introduce myself to my teacher, I venture out of the room to go find my locker.

I was walking down the hall looking down at my phone when I accidentally bumped into someone and made her drop all of her books.

" Yo, my bad. I'm sorry I wasn't looking. Here, let me help you." I said helping her pick up her books.

" No it's fine, I should've been watching." She said in a pissed off tone, and walked away rolling her eyes.

There was something about her that just attracted me to her. She had beautiful brown eyes, long curly hair, and an adorable babyface. I couldn't avert my eyes from her as she quickly walked off down,  the hall. It's like she put a spell on me. I just had to get to know her.

The first period bell rang breaking me out of my thoughts about the mysterious girl. When I walked into my first period class, I was happy to see my girl sitting in the back of the class. I was even happier when I saw an open seat next to her. I made my way over there as fast as I could, that is without making a fool of myself.

After I sat down next to her and got settled, I cleared my throat so that she would notice me. She looked over at me and rolled her eyes.

" Well I don't think I deserved that, it was an accident, and I apologized." I said grinning at her.

" I said it was fine, so you didn't have to come over here and apologize again, so bye." She said in a sassy tone.

" I just came over here to introduce myself, and maybe make a new friend. I'm Alexis. And you are..."

" Treasure" she says with a light smile.

" Oh my gosh is that a smile?" I say joking around with her, and making her laugh lightly.

"Believe it or not, I actually do smile sometimes. Don't act like I'm some cold-hearted bitch, because you don't even know me." Her attitude quickly changed from nice and sweet to mean and bitchy.

" Aye, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I was just trynna make conversation."

" Whatever" she said, rolling her eyes yet again. " So...um where are you from, because you have a very thick accent." She said trying to change the subject. At least I know she still wanted to talk to me, that means I'm getting somewhere."

" New Orleans."

" That's cool,  I love New Orleans. It's one of my favorite places including the world." She said getting a little excited.

" Oh so you've been?" I looked up and she was nodding her head.

" Yeah, but I've only traveled there once, so I don't know much about it, but I know enough to know its a wonderful place."

" Yea, it is...until you watch the news and see that someone very close to you has been shot down." I said looking down solemnly. " it's the most wonderful place to outsiders but to the locals it's one of the most deadly places to be."
