  Elliot held her hand, as he dragged the emotionless-faced girl all the way to the auditorium. There he sat her on the stage the gym was sporting, stood between her legs and just held her. Even though he would never admit it, he did have feelings for the fragile girl and hated seeing her hurt. Especially when he knew exactly who hurt her. She pulled away and kissed his cheek; for her it was a friendly gesture of gratitude, for him it meant everything. 

  Elliot decided to ignore that side of him and focus on the broken girl infront of  him.  He'd seen the many bruises months before, but it wasn't until a few weeks ago, when he thought she loved him, and almost took away what little youth she had left, but was interrupted by her brother, knocking on the door, wishing to speak with her. 15 minutes later she came back into the darkness of her room, and if it weren't for the street lights shining onto her face, he wouldn't have noticed the yellow bruise forming on her cheekbone, along with a busted lip to complement it.
