Alison walked down the aisle, of the local convenient store, gathering as much food and necessities as possible, sometimes stopping and taking a worried glance out the store's window.

Someone tapped Alison's shoulder lightly. "I'M SORRY!!" Alison shouted then took a frightened glance at the person who tapped her.

The man who tapped her held up his hands and said, "It's ok, I won't hurt you." Alison looked at him suspiciously.

The man started to shift and rub his neck, in awkwardness and being uncomfortable, then pointed to a woman at the cashier counter. "The lady over there, Misty, is the manger and she's wondering what your doing. You've been in here for almost a half an hour."

Alison stiffened and looked away. "I-I'm just getting necessities." Alison gripped the bottom of her dark blue hoodie. "S-sorry for taking so long." She averted her eyes towards the man's name tag. 'Luke.'

Luke didn't believe her completely, but pretended not to be skeptical. "It's fine. Mist-I mean, we were just worried about you." Alison just then noticed his thick Minnesotan accent. "Don't take too long, we wanna go home too. " Luke laughed and walked towards Misty at the cashier counter.

Alison stared at Luke for a minute, then snapped out of it. She began to look around frantically, searching for anything else she would need. Alison's eyes landed on a pack of water bottles. She sped walked to the pack and picked it up. Alison brought the package of water bottles to the counter, along with her miniature cart full of necessities.

Misty, the manager, smiled at Alison and started to scan her stuff. "Is that all-"

"I'll take over now." Luke cut in, smirking. He lightly pushed Misty to get her to move, but all she did was huff. "Ahem, I have a customer Miss Manager." Misty's face grew into disgust at the name Luke gave her. She moved over, so Luke could get to the counter, and left to the back room. "Now that she's gone, why do you need all of these...these necessities?" Luke asked, looking up at Alison. Dead in the eye.

Alison's chocolate, brown eyes coward, but she didn't tell the truth. "I-I just moved into an a-apartment. A-and I-"

"Please don't tell me lies. I want to know the truth. I won't tell if you don't want me to." Luke whispered. He gently laid his hand on Alison's.

Alison slightly nodded. "B-but you have to promise not to m-make fun of me." Luke nodded. "I-I have these...v-visions about what bad thing i-is going to happen next. A-and they always come true. A-and my mother and father are getting sick and t-tired of my visions. S-so, I left. A-and now I'm going to live on my own. F-far, far away from my family. A-and, the cops are after me." Alison looked away from Luke's hard stare.

"That is going to be $20.45." Alison looked up at him.

"W-what? B-but I bought so much. H-how could it be so little?"

Luke winked at her and said, "I think I understand. So, I'm gonna help you, by letting you pay less than what is needed, anytime your at this store. Anyway, that'll be $20.45." His smile and eyes said that he wasn't lying. Alison trusts him. She hands him the money, gathers her things, and walks away.

"T-thank you." Alison calls back quietly.

"Anytime." And with hearing that, she left.

Alison walked out into the cold, fall night. She put all of the items in her backpack and threw away the bags. The she headed out into the not-so-quiet town.

Alison followed the backstreets that she found when she was younger. She pulled her hood down to hide her face from the strangers she was seeing. Alison started to feel lightheaded so she sat on a bench at a nearby park. The visions were attacking her one after the other. Hit after hit. An each one getting worse and getting closer in time.

'My family. They're all dead because of me. All because of me. Murdered. Someone in red. It hurts! My head hurts!' These were only some of the thoughts going through Alison's head.

After awhile the visions stopped and she was left with a huge headache. Alison pulled backpack in front of her and started to dig for Tylenol. A piece of her strawberry blonde hair covered part of her face, annoying her slightly. Alison finally found the bottle of Tylenol and took two pills. She sighed and got up from the slightly damp bench.

About 20 minutes later, Alison's memories of her visions returned to her. She could feel the paranoia seeping into her brain. Alison stumbled into a nearby alleyway and leaned against the wall of is.

She was going to stay there for a few seconds, just to catch her breath, but she felt a tap on her shoulder. Fear rose to Alison's throat, leaving her speechless as she turned around to face the person behind her. She looked at the being fearfully. It was a woman, barley over 5'8, with died pink hair and dark green eyes. Looking down at the woman's outfit Alison could tell that she was either a hooker or stripper.

The woman smiled and said, "Hi there doll, what is sweet lil' 'o thing like you doing out here?" Alison flinched and didn't say a word. "Haha, should've known. I'll introduce myself. My name is Lady. And I work as a stripper. Now, who are you doll?" Lady's southern accent was filled with kindness and trustworthiness. Alison knew right then and there that she could trust this woman.
