Today was moving day and I was kind of excited to leave to be in a new environment and have a new environment to be around, but I was going to miss my friends and the house I grew up in.
I was standing in my once decorated bedroom admiring it for the last time. I turned around flick the light switch off and walked down the stairs not looking back at it at all. I walked out our old house and my mom was buckling my brothers up in the back seat of our black escalade rental car. I hopped in the front seat and buckled my seat belt.
I looked out the window and inserted my headphones in my ear and played "languages" By Drake as my mom pulled off down the street.
We arrived to the airport and one of the workers helped us get out luggage out.
I grabbed my lil brother hand and we walked behind our mom with our carry on suit cases. We boarded the plane and it took off Good Bye Florida hello California.
3hrs. later...
We arrived in California after 10 minutes everyone exited the plane
My mom told me to watch my brothers as her and one of the airport workers went to go and retrieve our luggage after 20 minutes of waiting they joined us and we all exited the airport to be greeted by King standing by his all black Porsche holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a big smile on his face
My mom instantly ran in his arms leaving me to hold Kaden, I rolled my eyes just annoyed by his presence. King walked over to me and pulled me into a big bear hug kissing my forehead which made me hate him more but I plastered a fake smile on my face.
You all may be wondering why I hate him so much it's because he tried to take my mom away from my brothers and I he got her addicted to drugs after she had my brother but she is clean now and she won't go back down that road ever again.
King helped put all our bags in the trunk and we all got in the car. He gave my mom a kiss before we pulled off and headed to his house. A half an hour later we arrived at Kings House or should I say our new house, it was so beautiful, King killed the engine and we all exited the car.
King retrieved Kaden out the car as I unbuckled Jaden;
I grabbed my suit case and Jaden suit case as we followed King and my mom inside of the house.
I thought the outside of the house was beautiful the inside was even better with high ceilings marble floors leather couches with fur pillows it was so beautiful.
I scanned the room taking in my new environment this is what I will be calling home for now on I thought to myself.
"Where's my room?" I asked King as he played with Kaden on the couch
"It's upstairs to the left" He replied keeping his eyes on Kaden.
I rolled my eyes and walked up the stairs with Jaden following right behind me.
Jaden and I were really close from the day he was born. I walked down a long beige hallway to a door that had Kiana written on it in cursive.
I opened the door to be greeted by the scent of lavender candles burning the room was very beautiful I was in aww as I walked to the huge king bed and laid down on it I didn't even realize that Jaden had left to go look for his room
I laid down I was thinking about my new life and the new people I was going to meet I soon drifted off into a sleep.
I woke up to my IPhone5 ringing I sat up and realized I had fallen asleep I looked over and picked my phone up it was a text from my friend Shayla who already lives in California asking was I hear.

I got out of bed and unzipped all my suit cases I walked into my bathroom and took a 15 min shower, I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my wet body
I made my way into my room and dried my body off I lathered myself in lotion and walked to my suit cases. I pulled out my red Marilyn Monroe sweater a pair of black ripped up skinny jeans and my bred 11's
I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my phone and walked down stairs.
"Shayla's coming to pick me up" I said as I walked outside to sit on the porch to wait for her.
"Be back before 11" my mom yelled as I shut the door.
After waiting for 5 minutes Shayla pulled up in her black Nissan Altima.
"Hey boo" I yelled as I hugged her.
Me and Shayla have been friends for a long time she use to live in Florida with me and went to school together but she moved when her mom found a better job in California. Now we are back together and inseparable.
After 45 minutes of driving and catching up we arrived at the mall it was crowded I guess everyone was getting last minute things for school since everyone starts tomorrow.
We entered the mall arm in arm and made our way to forever 21. After going there we went to champs then footlocker and other stores. Before we knew it we were leaving the store with 6 bags in each arm.
We stopped by Chick-Fil-A and ordered food. I looked at my phone to see I had 5 miss calls from my mom and it was 11:30.
"We got to go I'm late for my curfew" I told Shayla.
We got in the car and Shayla drove me to my house ad fast as she could. When we pulled up my mom was standing at the door.
"Where the hell was you?" she ranted as I walked past her and into the house.
"I was at the mall and lost track of time sorry" I replied she looked at me and her face softened up
"Next time call me and tell me you're going to be late" she explained I shook my head and walked up the stairs.
I unpacked all my clothes that I bought and the ones that were in my suit case took a quick shower plugged my phone up and went to sleep.
