"Damn," I said, feeling a bit sorry for Chresanto. Just a bit. "She lives here?"

"After her mom found out that she was pregnant with a black boy she kicked her out. My mom was trying to be nice and let her stay here just during her pregnancy to be helpful but now she's acting like she pays bills in this bitch."

"Someone needs to put this little girl in her place," November muttered. "Little hoochie mama."

Christy laughed. "I was hopping that the person who would put her in her place would be Brielle."

"Girl bye! It's not my place to put anybody in their place."

"Cut the bullshit, Brielle. You know that you want to say something to her."

"Yeah, I want to say a lot to her that I still haven't said since high school! But, I'm a grown women and she barely knows how to wipe her ass at that." I replied.

"Well, someone needs to say something before I do," November angrily said. "Just by hearing this makes me want to pop her one good time in the mouth."

"Who doesn't want to pop her? I'm only being civil because of my mothers rules and for the sake of Lani."

"Where is Lani?" I asked.

"Chresanto and her are out for a while. They'll be back later."

I nodded my head. "Where's my little baby Keke at? I haven't seen her in almost three years!"

"She's in the room taking a nap. Want me to wake her up?"

"Is she going to get fussy? If so no need too I'll just see her when she wakes up."

"No, she never gets fussy! Plus, it's about time for her to wake up before she over sleeps."

"Alright, I'll come to get her with you."

I tiptoed into Keke's room right behind Christy. She shut the light on and gently pulled the covers off of Keke.

"Wake up, Keke! You have a visitor." Christy said, shaking her a bit.

She lousily sat up in her bed against the wall, rubbing her eyes with her fingers. I smiled and waited till she was completely awoke to acknowledge me.

I waved once she looked over at me in my direction. At first she didn't recognize me until she took a second glance and smiled.

"Brielle!" She yelled, throwing her hands around my hips.

"Keke, I missed you so much!" I exclaimed, ruffling my hands through her hair.

"Where have you been? I missed you a lot!"

I chuckled. "I went to New York so I that I could attend college."

"I'm almost sure that there's a lot of colleges here that you could go to."

"Yeah I know but I just wanted to try something different."

"You're not leaving anytime soon are you?"

"Not anytime soon."

"Okay, that's good."

I grinned. "C'mon, let's go downstairs with Christy and November."

She nodded her head and grabbed my hand, leading me down the staircase. We sat in the back part of her living room and played toys with her for a few minutes before we heard the door close.

"Chresanto?" Christy yelled.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"I was just making sure that it was you."

Chresanto's daughter ran into the part where we were. She first hugged her two Aunties then November.

"You're Brielle, wright?" She asked, giving me a questioned look.

I nodded my head. "Don't you remember me?"

She nodded her head. "It's nice seeing you akain." She said, giving me a hug before Chresanto came into the room.

"Hey, November." Chresanto greeted, sitting next to her on the couch.

"What's up, Chresanto?" She asked.

He shrugged her shoulders. "Chilling."

"Hey, Brielle." He greeted.

I grinned. "Hello, Chresanto."

Christy gave me a sly grin as I pulled my phone out and decided to text Christopher. I needed someone to get my mind off of this awkwardness.

"Baeeeee" -Brielle

"Whats up?" -Christopher

"Where are ju!?!?!" -Brielle

"At home. Where are you?" -Christopher

"I'm with November." -Brielle

"Stop by after y'all finished?" -Christopher

"Alright, I'll see you in a while." -l

"Bye boo." -Christopher

"Are you guys hungry?" Chresanto asked. "I can order wings."

"Order the spicy ones, daddy!" Lani yelled.

"They're too hot for you." Chresanto replied.

"I'm a bwig girl!"

"Don't get all fussy when I'm right about them being too hot for you."

I grinned at Chresanto's and Lani's relationship that they had with each other. He really grew up and showed everyone that he was something besides a player.

"I think it's time for Brielle and I to leave." November said, yawning.

"Yeah, same here." I responded, crossing my left leg over my right.

"You're going to come back again, right?" Christy asked, putting her phone away.

"Definitely. How about tomorrow? I'm free all day."

"Alright, that sounds fine."

Chresanto carried Lani bridal style ready to take her to bed. "Bye, November and Brielle."

"Bye, Chresanto." I said, waving from outside.

"Look at you, acting all nice and cordial." November cooed once we were in my car.

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up, November. It's not like I hate him or anything."

"Yeah, that's probably going to end sooner or later."
