" It is you got like 20 minutes to get there and I've called the taxi it should be here in few minutes." Said Sally excited.
My heart hammered in my chest as I looked at the girls scared, "I don't think I can do this" I muttered.
"Why not?" chorused the girls.
"What if I make stupid mistakes? what if I make a fool of myself? what if he's not like I want him to be? what if he doesn't show up? what if-"
Sally grabbed me from the shoulders and looked me in the eye as she spoke with determination. "Myra calm down, stop thinking about what if and look at yourself," She turned me towards the mirror as she stood behind me and met my eyes through the reflection. "You look beautiful, forget Chris I'm sure you will knock other guys down with your sexiness. So what if Chris is not what you want him to be, you just end the date and never see him again, it's simple. Plus stop thinking about you making mistakes or acting like a fool if you over think then I'm sure you will so just take a deep breath and go with the flow."
I took a deep breath and nodded. "Thanks Sally" I hugged her tightly.
"Your taxi's here." Said Holly as she looked down from the window.
I took a deep breath "Okay I better get going." I whispered
"If anything happens just ring one of us, we will be having a late night anyway." Assured Leah.
I gave them a smile , "Thanks girls for everything."
As soon as I paid the taxi driver and got out of the car, the butterflies started to erupt in my stomach making me feel anxious. I walked through the open doors and met a waiter standing at the front with a wide smile. "How may I help you, madam?"
"I'm supposed to meet someone called Chris Chezney." I fiddled with my bangles as I answered the waiter.
"Just a moment." The waiter looked into his book and looked up with a smile. "Just follow me."
I gave a small smile which didn't reach my eyes as I followed the waiter, I frantically scanned the room to see if I could catch a glimpse of Chris but I was in no luck. As I took a step closer to my date the more my heart hysterically it beat, I don't think my heart could take it anymore so I looked down at the floor and tried to steady my heartbeat. "Here you go madam" The waiter looked at me as he stood with his hand out pointing at the table. I looked up at the waiter, then at his hand that was pointing, I then focused on the table before I looked up to see a handsome man seated. Chris roamed his eyes slowly down my body,"Wow" He whistled. I didn't know what to say as I stood their gawking at Chris with the waiter standing there looking at us. I cleared my throat uncomfortably and Chris quickly stood up and held the chair for me, I sat down and muttered a thank you. He looked so damn sexy in reality compared to his picture, the white tight shirt suited him well. Chris sat down and gave me a smile, "you look different compared to your profile." He admitted. Before I could respond to Chris the waiter handed us the menu's and walked away.
I didn't even look down at the menu; I just stared at Chris as he looked right back at me. We held each other captive under this intense eye contact , just looking at his piercing eyes I started to get goose bumps on my arms. His lips twitched a bit which caused me to break our eye contact and focus on his luscious red lips which caused him to smirk. I cleared my throat and looked down at the menu in my hands instead of his piercing brown eyes or his kissable lips. "So, do I look different in a good or bad way?" I asked him quietly.
"I honestly didn't recognise you for a second with your black hair, I do normally find blonde girls attractive like you in your profile picture but I must say you look hotter in your black hair so yeah the answer to your question is in a good way." He gave me wink and a mischievous smirk at the end.
