(Before I start this, I want to say thank you to everyone who followed, commented, and voted on this story! It's actually one of my most popular ones out there! Which, is kind of incredible, considering this was just some challenge my friend got me to do, and i've never watched the show.

Yet, here we are! Thank you to everyone who's been so supportive, and I wrote this all for you, despite the fact it was going to originally be a oneshot.

And, who knows? Maybe i'll write more Miraculous in the future!

Now, without further ado, enjoy!!! :D

 "I am so sorry!"

In the moment, all he could think about was the excruciating pain in his arm. That, and that he was now completely soaked through and through, right down to his socks. The cold, chilly air did not help with that aspect of things.

And there was a girl staring at him with bright, worried eyes and a fearful stance about her, despite the fact that she was also laying sprawled out on the snowy ground.

He was cold-very cold-and in pain, and all he wanted to do in that moment was yell and scream at the closest thing next to him-which just so happened to be her. That, or apologize for his harsh words, because he had been quite rude in saying that, hadn't he?

He had always been indecisive. It was a trait that he had hoped would wear off eventually.

It never had.

And then he realized the words that had actually come out of her mouth (he had always been kind of slow as well), and the context that they were in.

The very same words that were written out on the back of his left leg.

And a sudden thought, clear in his mind;

'Oh my God. This is my soulmate.'

All Adrien Agreste had wanted was to go buy groceries.

It had been a snowy, December morning, and they had been in desperate need of more things from the store. So, Adrien had been nominated to go and buy groceries, as they were planning on eating stew that night, anyways.

"They" meant he and Nathalie. His father was far too busy for things like eating together as a family. It was a modern world, after all, and he had work to do. And, his mother...well...

He didn't feel like talking about his mother.

Usually, Nathalie would have gone out to get said groceries. Or, perhaps another maid or butler-there were far too many for Adrien to count, really. But, the assistant had been busy, and it seemed like nobody else had been around. And, Adrien really liked Nathalie's stew. So much that he had decided to take one for the team, and had made his way through the rough, busy, early-morning streets of Paris, France.

Or course, he hadn't expected to literally run into somebody.

He also hadn't expected that "somebody" to be his soulmate...

Life had an odd way of screwing you over sometimes, didn't it?

Now, he sat in some coffee shop called "C'est la Vie, Ma Belle" clutching tightly onto his hot chocolate, sitting right across from his freaking soulmate whose name he hadn't even bothered to learn yet.
