In Steve's perspective

As Steve walk the old streets of the Brooklyn he once new. He felt a bit nostalgic. He wanted to walk around with Bucky but he refused and insisted that Steve go on his own. It was strange but he agreed anyways.

So now he walks the streets, alone. With no real destination to go to.

But he started to notice a trend.

Steve has been seeing a lot of hairstyles from when he was young.

It was weird as he walked along the street seeing all these women who have 1940s hairstyles. It was kinda nice, but it was still weird.

He turned a corner and sees young ladies were wearing long knee length dresses, the young men in suits! Not the usual tee-shirt and jeans. It was a button-up shirt, slacks, the dress, leather patent shoes, stockings? The whole kazoo!

"Okay this is getting weird," Steve said to himself

A beautiful blond lady with a short pin curled walked by him. (like in the picture) He tapped on her shoulder gently.

"Excuse me ma'am, where did you get your hair done?" Steve questioned politely

"Oh! There's this cute little salon down the corner. The lady there did this for me," she gave him a pearly-white smile

"Okay but why?" He asked still confused

"Oh you don't know?" She asked

"Know what?"

"It's Captain America's birthday," she said as she walked away

He stood there, frozen in shock by what she just said.

"How could I forget my own birthday," he groaned and facepalmed

"Oh then I guess those guys are planning a party for me," Steve thought a loud

"I guess I'll stay out a little while longer, maybe even checkout that shop,"

"And I'm just talking to myself," Steve mentally sighed, putting his hands in his pant pockets

He walked to the corner where the lady pointed at.

As he turned the corner he sees men and women a like lining up in front a cute little shop. He walks closer and closer to the shop and took a good look inside, the shop's wallpaper was a light (f/c) pastel color.

And above the shop's logo was a large banner saying "Happy Birthday Captain Steve Rogers!"

He felted touched that someone tried to see him as Steve instead of just Captain America. His eyes travelled to the workers. The 5 ladies were wearing matching red polka-dot with a black smocks on. The 5 men wore white button-up shirts and brown pants.

As he looked even closer in the shop his eyes fall upon the most beautiful girl he's ever seen! She had curled (h/c) shoulder length hair, bright, innocent, loving (e/c) eyes, and a smile that could put the moon to shame.

She wore a different dress than the other women. She wore a (least favorite color) dress that flowed as she walked with elegance and precise accuracy, especially in high heels.

Although the dress was not her color, she had the face that could rock anything, or that's what he thought.

He saw the girl smiling, clearly enjoy her work. Then she turn his way, looking him dead in the eyes. Her eyes widen as did her radiant smile. She ran out the door ignoring the people.
