Being his usual self, Sunggyu walks outside of his classroom and immediately heads towards the library. Of course, being the school's number 1 is a very hard title to keep, but for Sunggyu, whose life revolved on music and studies, it is a very easy task. He has kept this title of his for 2 years, since he entered high school, and so far, no one has seemed to be a threat. Except for a rumored transferee...

Sunggyu has heard those rumors for a few days now - a male transferee entering their school, for which according to word of mouth, has an intellect which can equal that of Sunggyu's. Also, they hear that he is very talented, both in academic and non-academic tracks. Some even say that he has dashing looks, wherein anyone can fall in love at first sight. Sure, Sunggyu wanted to see that guy, as per his bisexual nature, but after hearing that he was as smart as him, he didn't want any distractions. He wanted to keep his title. No matter what happens, I still must be number one...

Entering the library, he says hi to the librarian, who is very fond of him visiting the library on an almost daily basis. The librarian waves back, smiling at him. Though being called 'The Dragon' by a few students, Jeong Eunji was really a nice person, especially to Sunggyu. She liked it when the boy visits the library, because she was able to find hope that students still loved to study.

"Hello, my dear bookworm. Here for a few references, I guess?" Eunji remarks, smiling while looking at Sunggyu leave his bag on the counter and smiles back at her. "Ne, I just wanted to read in advance, just so as to make sure I'm ahead." He brings out a list of books for which he planned to borrow, and gives the list to Eunji. The librarian smiles back, informing him that the books were still there. Knowing that Sunggyu was very much an OC when it comes to the physical condition of books, he let the younger borrow their single copy books, for which sometimes returns to the library with a few repairs from him.

"Some of these are single copies, but you know how much I trust you. Just get them from the shelves and bring them here for me to clear them out." Eunji said, giving the boy signal for him to go and roam around the labyrinth of knowledge. But before Sunggyu could start his journey, he goes back to Eunji, and suddenly remembers to ask. "Eunji-sshi, have you happened to hear about the new student?"

Eunji thinks for a minute, then smiles, "You mean Nam Woohyun? He's such a hottie! I hear he's very smart as well, very talented, and good-looking!" Eunji suddenly pops an idea on her head, and eyes Sunggyu suspiciously, "Are you, by any chance, interested in him?" Eunji knew Sunggyu's nature. He knew that the guy wasn't straight, but she didn't mind.

Sunggyu shook his head, his voice tensing up, "A-andwaeyo! I just wanted to know if the rumors were true!" Eunji smiled, giving a suspicious grin. "Okayy~~. Whatever you say~." Sunggyu immediately leaves the counter and begins walking around the library.

Every time he is at the library, Sunggyu finds tranquility as he glides through the shelves. He eyes the shelves in a very observative manner, looking for all the books that he will be needing. He takes a few and stacks them up on the nearest table, looking for a few more. He doesn't think if he could read all of these in a span of a week. What matters is I have them with me, he thought. He gets the last two books on his list and proceeds to go back to the table where he left the other books that he took earlier. He double checks the stack with what he has, making sure that everything is in place. Feeling satisfied that he was able to find all that he needed, he carried the stack of books and went back to the counter. There was a problem with the books though - they blocked his line of sight, making it seem that he can only see the sides. It didn't matter, Sunggyu thought, I'd use my sense of hearing to know if somebody is heading my way. However, this didn't seem to work for him, because a few moments later, he stumbled onto someone, which caused him to fall down and drop all of the books. His butt hurt, since the fall was hard, but what hurt his heart more was that some of the books were already damaged. He couldn't bear to see such a sight.

Sunggyu was caressing his head when he found a hand reaching out to him. He looked at where the hand was coming from, and was struck to see who was holding out his hand to him. He didn't recognize the face immediately, but the person had blonde hair and looked incredibly handsome. He wasn't sure how to describe the owner of the hand reaching out to him, but one word seemed to have formed in his mind as he looked at his face - perfection.

"I am truly sorry!" he remarks, "Are you okay?" Sunggyu didn't know what to say. What he did was an impulse of his body and not his mind - reaching out to the hand so as to stand up. He can feel his face getting red, still star-struck with the person asking for his hand. He could not respond, for he seemed to have lost the words to even thank him. The other picked up his books, placing them on the table as quickly as possible. After doing so, he double checked to see if all the books were picked up. He faced Sunggyu with concern in his eyes and bowed once more. "Again, I'm indeed sorry! I wasn't looking at where I was going and was focused on my phone, which is why I didn't notice that you were unable to see where you were going. I'm sorry!"

The man kept explaining but Sunggyu just stood there, speechless. He didn't know how to react. He simply stared at the perfection in front of him. His mind was pandemonium, a storm of thoughts circling his head. He wasn't sure how to respond because his mind didn't function properly, but deep down, he was sure the way his heart abnormally beat told him what to feel. He was having a heart attack after reaching out to the other's soft hand. Upon this realization, his mind became clear, with only one thought:

I'vecompletely fallen for you. Your soft voice. I've fallen for it.
