Nagisa POV
"Rei chan!!" I run to Rei chan. It's finally the day when we can hang out at the mall. It's it's gonna be sooooo much fun!! No we won't be shopping but we would probably spend all our money on the arcade! Maybe we should bring Haru chan! Well we do bring him to lots of places but he isn't himself anymore!! It's because Mako chan isn't here.. He's at a Tokyo University.. He's been gone for about three years and I can tell that Haru chan misses him since he's been a bit more sad. I wish he would come back so Haru chan can be happy again! I wanna invite Mako chan!! When is he coming back?? He should be here!! (￣Д￣)ﾉ
Rei chan turns around and smiles. "Oh hey Nagisa kun!"
I smile and hug him as he ruffles my hair. "You're going to the mall with me today, right?"
"Of course I am! Nagisa kun, we've discussed this."
"Just double checkin'! I want you to come along with us since you weren't able to last time."
"Us? I thought it was just me and you.."
"I wanted to bring Haru chan since he's just been too sad lately!"
"Oh okay.." He sounded a bit sad but I can tell that he understood.
Rei's POV
Of course, I wanted to just have a date with Nagisa kun but I know that Haruka senpai needs to have fun too. He hasn't been the same since Makoto senpai left for college. Makoto senpai meant a lot to him. I hope he comes back so he's happy again.
We walk to his house and Nagisa bursts through the door.
"Haru chan!! Heyyy!!" He smiles brightly as Haruka senpai looks away.
"Hi.. How are you.."
"We're doing great! And what about you? Are you feeling better?"
".... I never will." He smiles weakly.
"Oh.. Well I hope you will someday! I know Mako chan will be back for you! I promise!"
"...." He's still quiet of course, but he wasn't the same as before. He still smiles and acts normal but he's just more sad.
"We just wanted to bring you to the mall with us!!"
".. No thanks."
Haru's POV
As much as I wanted to go spend time with them, I didn't want to. Me and Makoto made a promise to go to play a video game at the arcade when he came back. I mean.. Well.. He does have the full version at his house but that was the first game we played together. And it was at that mall.. So I'm just not going to go.
~ le flashback ~
"Hey Haru, do you want to try this? It's really fun!" Makoto smiles as I look at the controller.
"How do you play..?" This is the first time I've seen him play a video game. I never thought he was a gamer. He smiles and gives me the controller. He explains to me how to play. I smile and mutter. "Okay.."
He grabs another controller and we play together. We spent about an hour just playing. It was fun though. It was fun when we played against each other, too..
~ back to le present ~
I smile. Makoto is the best person ever. He can change how you feel about anything. Everything becomes happier and it felt amazing..
