You & Me

Chapter 1 - The Fair

It was a nice night on July 15th. There was a fair in the town by our school,South Summit high. Of course I didn't think Kody was going to be there so I didn't think about it.

Kody is a tall 10th grader in my high school. He thinks he isn't one of the popular kind, but I can't say he is or isn't.

When I got there I first saw Dee and Paige. Dee flipped out and jumped on me with excitement. After we talked for a while I got my tickets. We went on a few rides while waiting for Jaze. Jaze finally came around seven thirty-two. While me and Jaze walked around we found Kody. I wanted to say hi but he was with friends. After a little he walked past us and I said:
"Hey"
"Sup"
"What happen to snap?"
"What so you mean?"
"It won't show your name"
"Try texting me"
After tying to find out what happened we found it out.
"Can I have a hug?"
"Yeah sure"
After the hug he said,
"See u later come find me"
As he walked away.
Me and Jaze started to walk around and we saw Mit,we start to laugh.
Mit is a guy in our grade that Jaze liked for awhile but doesn't anymore.
Later that night Viv came up to me and asked if I was okay.
"Yeah my chest hurts that's all"
"Oh okay u look like you were crying"
"No but thanks"
Viv stays because she wants to wait for two other people. I put my head down so I can catch my breath. When I pick my head up I see Kody coming towards me.
"Come here"
I get up and follow.
"Are u okay?"
"Yeah just my chest hurts"
He grabs my hand and hugs me my breathing becomes better. We start to talk about something. Dee comes over and I tell her to wait I have to talk to him for a minute. After we talked everyone comes over and we just stand there. I was talking to Jaze and I feel him take my phone out of my back pocket and goes and hacks me on snap. It was around nine o'clock, Dee and Paige left because they were tired and bored. I look at Kody and he types can we go to talk alone it is important.
"Jaze we are going to talk I will text you when I'm done."As I walk off away from her with Kody. Jaze texted me and says,
"Hurry up please."
I put my phone away and continue talking. Around the time we walked back my mom called.
"Hey be careful there are people in masks scaring people"
"I know Jaze told me"
"Okay bye"
As I hang up the phone I see two young boys in black hoods and masks run past us. We walk on and he see's his friends and tells me he will see me around. I walk to find Jaze. She she is sitting on a bench taking to someone in a black hood. She is laughing and smiling. I text her:
"I will catch up to you later, I'm going to get food."
My phone buzzed and it was my ex. I texted Jaze and told her he was here but no answer. My phone buzzed again it was Kody.
"Meet me by the wall"
"Okay be there soon"
A I walk I see the guy leave Jaze. He had a mask on and ran with his friends. I saw my ex when I got to Kody. He asked:
"Hey I need to talk to u"
"What?"
"Alone"
I told Kody if i start to flip out and scream get my cousin and come get me. I walk away to my ex.
"Yes?"
"So you lied to me really!! What do u hate me now or something??"
"What did I lie about? Please tell me I wanna know! I do hate you because I played me and Jaze!"
"You lied about everything and you said you did like me. Why lie? You are trash I can't believe it!"
He grabs me and throws me to the side of a truck. I scream.
"YOU LIED TO ME!!! YOU LIED...."
Before he could finish Kody and my cousin come over. I see Jaze run to me but it goes blurry. I see Kody coming to pick me up and carry me to the wall. My cousin grabs my ex and takes him to the cop.
*cries holding head*
Jaze is next to me and Kody holding me.
"Ty are u okay?"
I hear in so many voices.
After minutes pass by I have Jaze call Ben. I get off the wall and fall to the ground.
