Skye is a 18 year-old girl that doesn't like new people. She is quiet, shy, yet awfully hostile, and skilled in magic and sword fighting, who doesn't know where she is...? All she can remember is going into a small woods on the planet fengári.
On the other hand, Gold is the same age as Skye but his personality is the exact opposite. He is an extrovert, great with people skills, and is at the same skill level as Skye with magic (though he doesn't use it much), and in sword fighting.
