Nova's pov-

i pulled my sundress on tugging it down my body smiling at myself in the mirror before moving to the bathroom door only to stop when i heard a loud groan i was quick to throw it open only to reveal a red faced Daniel who was curled up in the fetal position another cry of pain left him and he tossed around violently i whined what was wrong with him i made a move to come closer but his eyes caught mine he growled at me

"stay back Nova" and i did

i jumped back and kept moving back until i was pressed against the wall i didn't know what to do so i did the only thing i could do

i called for help

Daniel's pov-

I groaned rolling around in pain withering against the bed my body burnt and pulsed i couldn't be on heat it's been years since my last one why come back now

"what's happening Daniel?" I heard Amy's voice in my head "nova called me what's wrong?"

"What time of the month is it" I hissed out through the pack link

"August 1---- crap Daniel you're on heat"

"I know" I hissed

"Daniel?" I heard Nova's voice call and I watched as she moved closer she was only wearing a long sundress the went just above her knees a sight that my wolf purred at

'grab mate!' his voice echoed 'make love to mate'

'you don't even know what that means' I hissed "stay Nova!" I barked once again as she took a step closer to me she whined stepping back I was scaring her

another wave of pain struck me I really hated being on heat I usually had she wolves already outside my door ready to jump me if Amy didn't stop them I would have already impregnated the entire population of she wolves not that any of them would be strong enough to carry my pups I would take nova but she's just too young I wanted this decision to be hers I arched my back off the bed

Nova's pov-

"what wrong with him?" I whispered to Amy

"he's on heat Nova and he's not going to let you get close enough to quell the pain for him" I whined

"what can i do?" i whimpered out Kieara wouldn't settle seeing him like this hurt both of us and hurt even more that he didn't want us near him

"his wolf, no matter what he says is very horny Nova and now that he's on heat, which he hasn't been on for few years now, it's a whole heap worse having your mate in the room but forcing your self not to touch her could you imagine that?"

i shook my head while watching him only to realize she couldn't see me i mumbled a 'no'

"but i asked what i could do to help"

"weeellll" she started

Daniels pov-

i felt something touch my back and i looked up through my blurry vision only to jump away growling at the girl who stood there

"no Nova stay back" i snapped feeling myself drift closer to her it was the heat all the heat i wanted her and that was all my body knew then one thing turned to another and i suddenly had my arms wrapped around her waist my face pushed into her neck but my wolf had more control over me then i did

his fangs grazed her neck tongue running along her skin i knew he was about to mark her but there was nothing i could do until she pinched mt sides hard and i yelp but not letting her go all thoughts of marking out the window as I flipped her underneath me my body hovering over hers and my wolf fighting for complete control I took a deep breath in taking in her sweet scent but also catching something else

fear

my little mate was scared and I closed my eyes tightly my wolfs face flashing angrily in my head

'let me have control, let me have her' he snapped

'no' growled back

'why not' he whined lust making him give up quickly I opened my eyes staring into hers

'look at her your scaring her and I feel her wolfs fear too'

he whined slowly receding in my head allowing me control but my heat was still there and was back at full force being centimeters away from her was slowly killing me and to make it worse her eyes were closed i leaned over and I placed soft kisses over her face and she relaxed slowly turning to look at me her blue eyes stared into my brown ones

"you're on heat?" she whispered and I nodded wincing in pain as she wrapped her arms around my neck but I unwrapped them placing them on my bare chest causing a blush to rise up her smooth cheeks

"don't" i whispered "touch me like that" she nodded her hands sliding down my chest her nails dragging across my stomach all the while never breaking eye contact i had a feeling she didn't know she was doing it and i couldn't take the way she was touching me so i pulled away and she froze then blushed as she realized what she was doing

"could you just..." i looked away and blushed" ... hold.... me?" I asked feeling vulnerable as my body burnt with the passion to consume her

i saw her head bob and i moved to her and curled up against her stomach wanting to be wrapped up in her scent as I closed my eyes feeling her fingers gently run through my hair how was I going to survive the council meeting when I was on heat for the next four days
