Nova's pov-

he came out of his wardrobe with one of his shirts

"arms up" he told me gently and I slowly raised my arms

he pulled the shirt down my arms and over my head pulling it down my body where it stopped at my knees he then disappeared into the bathroom coming out with undergarments and tights passing them to me he turned away as I pulled the underwear on and the tights too flopping around in the long sleeves as he turned around he smiled quickly rolling up to my elbows he then sat down beside me on the bed before he laid down looking at me then I swallowed hard looking at him

"where will I be sleeping?"

Daniel's pov-

my body tensed as she said those words

"you'll be staying here" I motioned around the room

she looked around with me then looked back at me with wide eyes as if to ask 'really?'

"you're not kicking me out?" she asked quietly

her words caused a frown to etch into my face I shook my head

"why would I do that?" I asked

I motioned her closer she crawled across the bed hesitantly laying down next to me

"my parents use to make me sleep outside" she started hiding her face from my view "I've never been in a bed before" 

Nova's pov-

I looked up from the bed staring at Daniel the look in his eyes never changed as he leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to my forehead that made butterflies flutter throughout my stomach and a red hot blush crawl up my neck tinging my cheeks red

"why are you hiding from me?" he asked as he pulled back I blushed again looking up at him "I hate to know that your parents did that to you" he whispered stroking clean strands of hair out of my face

"and my dad tried to reject me from the pack but my brother stopped him" tears streamed down my face as i suddenly realized what happened that day at the pack border and the words my father spoke in that different language to me how i managed to tumble down the hill he sighed

Daniel's pov-

I felt my anger grow in me

"I fell over the boarder" she whimpered out

I felt my protective side come into play as she cried I grabbed her in my arms whispering comforting words into her ear

"shh I hushed you're safe with me remember" a few moments of silence passed between us

"so is your father an alpha?" I asked she nodded

"of the maritime pack" she whispered I nodded

"I might just have to pay him a visit" then she stiffened and shook her head

"no no no no no" she begged more tears falling down her face "y-y-you c-c-can't he will punish me fo--" I pressed a finger to her lips tingles shooting up my spine

"i'll keep you safe he won't touch you ever again I promise okay?" she nodded

"okay" I smiled

"good" I told her pulling away I laid her down "now get some sleep"

I kissed her forehead again just loving the sensation that alone gave me and also loving the blush that tinges her cheeks every time I got up to leave not thinking it was a good idea to stay with her

'maybe she would feel more comfortable in her own roo---?'

she grabbed my arm as I was sliding off the bed her soft blue eyes stared up at me with fear

"stay with me ...please?" She asked

I felt my heart contract she shouldn't have to ask as I laid back down on the bed she snuggled into me and I held my Luna protectively

"I love her" my wolf purred causing my chest to vibrate

she made a cute purring noise back and I couldn't help but smile allowing my eyes to close on their own

"i like her too" was the last thing i thought as i drifted off to sleep
