I simply added the font and the text. For the text I use Phonto & Font Studio. Then I use PicsArt to edit it. The gradient type of effect you're seeing is actually NOT a gradient. Yes it's not a gradient. Its a texture blended on the text. Now you might be wondering how I blended the texture on the text. That's also simple:
1) First I took a blank new page in Phonto the app that I use for text. I added the font that seemed fit in black color & increased its size and then saved the image.
2) I opened the font image in PicsArt Editor as the background. I then added a red texture picture. After adjusting it as a Multiply or Darken or whichever better fits you according to if the picture is in white or black background. I placed the texture on the Text Picture like I wanted. If you like you can enhance the image a bit too by changing saturation or brightness etc.
