It was Matteo who spoke first.

Sarah wasn't able to finish her statement because Matteo suddenly grabbed her phone.

Matteo: Hi bro! This is Matteo.. don't worry about Sarah, i'll take care of her.

James spoke on the other end.

Matteo: there is absolutely no need for that, she's safe with me. she'll get home safe.

Mommy Glenna opens the door:

Mommy Glenna: Sarah i called your mom, sabi ko i'll make you sleep over nalang.. Matteo is tipsy and I can see you are too so it is safer, pumayag naman pati daddy mo.

Sarah was unable to respond at first.

Matteo however was smiling like a kid and spoke again..

Matteo: oops i take it back bro. Sarah will sleep here in the house muna. Don't worry she'll be home by tom.

He didn't wait for a response and ended the call.

Sarah: hala tita! no need po, i'm ok.. papasundo nalang po ako if di na kaya ni Matteo

Mommy Glenna: nonsense hija.. no need for that, your room here is always ready for you.. yung lagi mong pinagsstay-an before..

Sarah couldn't believe it. Sarah: ok lang daw po kay mommy and daddy??

Sarah: ummmm thanks po tita. Good night.

MG: Matteo hatid mo na si Sarah sa room niya. Hatid lng ha? hahahaha!

Sarah was red and Matteo said: I'll try ma! hehe!

Tinaasan ni Sarah si Matteo ng kilay but he just shrugged his shoulders like an innocent boy.

Hinatid na siya ni Matteo sa room.

Matteo: here are your sleepwear, towel etc. Your other clothes are still in that closet.

Sarah quietly said thanks. To her surprise Matteo kissed her in the forehead without warning.

Tumayo ang mga balahibo niya and she almost smiled at the gesture.

Matteo: sweet dreams princess..

Sarah didn't say anything. shocked parin siya. pag sinampal kaya niya sarili niya magigising siya? is this really happening?

She cleaned up and went straight to bed. Ikot ikot lng lng siya sa kama and couldn't seem to sleep. Namamahay? hindi eh. She has slept here before. Ah may bumabagabag... inamin nlng niya yun sa sarili niya. She decided to get up and went straight to the pool in the garden. nagdip siya ng paa dito habang nakaupo sa gilid.
