It was a long journey to Canada.
When we entered Canada my mom told me we will be living at a house not far from the college I will be attending.
She drove to our new street Swiftly in her Toyota matrix.
The street looked so deserted,oh my God!the street looked bizarre.
When we got to a old looking wretched house my mom stopped the car she wasn't really good at picking good houses.
Although our house at las Vegas was pretty much normal compared to this old looking,terrifying house.
"Samantha this is our new house" she said and stood in akimbo."but mom this house looks so weird and strange" I said staring at the cobwebs around the house.
"I'm sorry sweetie I couldn't find a house in the city and after all it is not really far from your college"She said.
"But mom,what if you go to work who will stay with me,remember this is not las Vegas where I go to my friend's place" I asked anxiously.
"Wynn will come and stay with you till you resume because she just finished high school." She assured me "mom who is Wynn?" I asked "Martha's daughter."she said.
I had a million question in my mind "but–" she cut in immediately "no buts the house just looks like this after we finish taking care of the house it will look okay,c'mon,come and carry this luggage" she said.
I went reluctantly to the trunk of my mom's car then I took our luggage and we moved them into the house,when my mom opened the door to the house I was shocked to see cobwebs filled around the house,when we entered the ante room it looked so small but when we got to the sitting room it was bigger but dirtier,when we took the luggage inside .
My mom showed me my room,it was the last room while hers was near the sitting room while Wynn's is in front of mine,i was given the key to my room.
The stairs to the room was so dark I had to switch on the flashlight on my phone while switching it on I heard a terrifying sound,what was that sound?I said to myself.
